Although it is a Kohler product the grab bars are not as strong as I hoped they would be.

The grab bar is black which coordinates with the other grab bars in the bathroom. This is important to me because I want the items to be clearly accessible when an accident is about to happen. It is on the ramp to the open shower we selected.

The 14.5-inch grab bars are actually 12-inch grab bars according to Kohler’s packaging. Maybe they measure 14.5 inches from one end of the mount to the other. I haven’t decided if they’ll work for me yet but thought I’d note that here for anyone else considering ordering them. Otherwise they’re very nice looking and just as expected.

I got this for me so i can sturdy myself in the shower. It wss easy to install and works great. Very sturdy it fit perfectly. I can hold myself and it holds up my weight great. I highly recommend this bar for heavier people.

Very nice grab bar. Stylish design with beautiful chrome finish. Easy installation. Looks great on the wall. A little more money than some others but a step above normal bars.

This grab bar came in handy and very useful right by the toilet i just had major surgery it helped keep me stable and able to get up while im done. This bar is great i thought at first it wouldn't help but I am glad it worked.

This grab bar is very sturdy. I feel safe using it knowing it will easily support my weight getting out of the tub. I like the crome look of the bar and the smooth feeling it has.The length of it is good and looks nice on the shower wall.

I had the tile replaced in my bathroom and installed this 18" grab bar as part of updating the safety of the shower. It is elegant, sturdy and looks great. I feel secure in that if I loose my footing, this bar will prevent a fall or worse! I am considering getting another one for my bathtub.

This Kohler grab bar has been such a helpful tool to have. My grandmother is getting older plus she has dementia so getting her in and out of the tub is hard physically. I needed to find a nice bar that would help her pull herself out of the tub and look nice in her bathroom. That was one of the biggest things for her was that it looked nice. Well it’s so nice my grandmother wanted to use it as a towel rack. Lol I needed it to serve it’s function and not worry about it coming off the wall or damaging the walls. The bar comes with everything you need to hang the bar (minus actual tools) it has the screws and they are very long nice heavy duty screws. We installed the bar with easy and it has been working perfectly. We pulled on it really hard to make sure it wasn’t moving before having my grandmother use it. I am truly happy with this product and wish I had bought this a long time ago. it has truly helped with getting her out of the tub and not having one of us mess our backs up helping her all the time get in and out. She likes that she has something to help lower herself into the tub. All round it makes us all feel like she is much safer getting in and out. I highly recommend this product!
