Quality Slicer
I have not had a chance to use the slicer so what I can say at this point is that the slicer is heavy and well made. Very fine thickness adjustments are possible with this machine. The self sharpening blade is extremely sharp so I strongly suggest using cut resistant gloves (at least level 5) when removing and handling it. Buy a food grade lubricant to keep the moving parts running smoothly. Happy slicing!
Exceeded Expectations
I have had the machine for three weeks now, cuts charcuterie or roasted meats very thin with ease. I have sliced (20) pounds of mostly-frozen bottom round for jerky with ease on 3 setting (meat was firm and frozen enough that no blood could run, but not totally solid). Powerful and easy to disassemble for cleaning. The teflon coating on the razor sharp blade wipes clean easily. It completely out-performs the cheaper, lower-powered slicer I had. I am happy that I spent the money to get this unit. I wish I had done it years ago.
Good Machine
The machine is pretty heavy duty especially for the home. Almost all metal construction. I was able to thinly slice frozen meat which is why I purchased it. The feel of the moving parts are very solid. Clean up is a little difficult as it has some narrow areas under the blade that food can fall into.

I absolutely love my KWS Premium Commerical meat slicer. It is unbelievably quiet and fast! I sliced a pound of turkey into perfectly shaved slices in just a few minutes. The slicer is quite versatile. I made homemade Big Macs and decided to slice the lettuce with the slicer - perfection. If you’re on the fence about this particular meat slicer - try it, you won’t be sorry. Walmart and KWS really came through on this collaboration!
