A great clock with easy read and showing date, day of week and of course the time. Not only powered by A/C but has battery back up via 2 AA batteries (not included). Also has 3 illumination settings to choose from. Best of all it timing is always correct via its Atomic clock capability. Liked it so much bought a 2nd one! Delivery was on estimated delivery date!

Good for low vision

My father had AMD, which creates problems for him reading small wrist watches, especially the tiny date bubble. This clock solves that problem and ads several modes to see date, day of the week, temperature, among others. To keep it lit, it has to be plugged it, on batteries only it lights up only on touch. It can be wall or table mounted. It solved our problems perfectly. The only problem is that the silver plastic frame shows every finger print. On,y had it up for a few weeks so don’t know how it will hold up. No reason not to buy it again.

While laying in bed , the clock sitting on my chest the numbers blurred, plus too much light emitted from face of clock!

After purchasing a different clock (made in Japan or China) from another vendor, the instructions were lost in translation & could do nothing more than hang it on the wall. This clock HOWEVER, is made in the USA, looks great, user friendly, easy set-up...we absolutely LOVE it!

While I really liked the BIG time/date, the backlight would not go dim enough to keep it in a sleeping room. Had it had a few more levels of dimness, it would have been great.

We bought this clock for my mother-in-law who is quite confused when she wakes up in the morning or from her afternoon nap. Now when she wakes up, she can clearly see what day it is and whether it is morning or afternoon. It is large enough for her to see it without having to put on her glasses and the lighting system (high and low) is great.
