Not assembled
I have never purchased anything from Value City that needed assembly so I was not happy to receive 3 large unassembled boxes. I went back and saw that it states, assembly not included in small print under the price, so I take responsibility for missing that. The boxes are very large and heavy and I haven't set aside a day to assemble them all so I can't comment on the end product. Just be aware of what you're getting into.
These shelves met all our expectations and even more. Very easy to assemble, and they look very nice in our nw home.
Terrible quality
So far I’ve only built the large bookcase it’s beautiful- some parts were ridiculous to put together (not well made) and I went to open the second box and the main side piece is completely cracked and seems like I can’t even return this order. def don’t recommend!

Great MCM Look!
I love the MCM look of this piece. It went together fairly easily. There was one piece that was damaged, but I was able to glue it back pretty easily. Love it and would recommend!

We are so very pleased with this purchase. They are real wood - they arrived with zero damage, the finish is flawless. They require some patience and strength to put together. Lots of parts and a very particular order to assemble, but if you pay attention and take your time you will be rewarded. We have paired the etagere with a mid-century modern desk and are super pleased with the overall design.

Absolutely beautiful, but if I'd known it wasn't arriving assembled I wouldn't have ordered it. Major pain to put the drawers together. Instead of using screws, they use some crazy T hook that's extremely hard to lock. Won't make this mistake a second time.
If in Perfect Condition it Would be Nice
Nice, seemed nice. They have a very convenient way of putting the case together but unfortunately, all of them did not work properly which was a problem. It created a drawer stop so the drawer would not go in all the way. That along with chipped wood and broken pieces we had to return. Fortunately we started with that one first and had not taken the time to put together the other two. All that said, it seems nice and if it was not broken, chipped and worked properly it would be worth the money. I would actually consider trying again but we went a different route. My guess is that most of them are in great condition. It is nearly the **** version but at much lower cost.
