The top half of the screen bent inwards, making the whole thing tilt backwards. Returned.

The item was as advertised and delivered in a very timely fashion. Sadly it arrived without the necessary screws and bolts to put it together. When I reached out to Home Depot they were of no help. The only suggestion they had was to return the item and accept a credit. I ended up searching for a contact # for the manufacturer, contacting them and requesting the missing pieces. Once I provided the sales receipt they quickly mailed the needed pieces. This should have been something Home Depot handled.

Only one problem with this screen: the "artistic" (totally unnecessary, IMO) supports that face out from the bottom would be way better if they were simple L-brackets, because then the supports would rest on the hearth from the base of the screen outward as far as there is surface for the brackets to rest on. The current brackets each have a measly square inch of metal that only rests on the hearth surface at a distance of 7.25 inches from the base of the screen. My raised hearth is barely wide enough for those brackets to do the job. Even if the hearth extended less than 7.25", L-brackets would work just fine. In fact, L-brackets extending only 3 or 4 inches would work on just about any hearth at all, no problem. Otherwise, the screen is attractive and is an adequate replacement for my old tri-panel screen.

Simple and very pleasing

Fits snugly up against our fireplace just as I had hoped. The measurements are precise, and the finish looks great. This simple, no frills sparkguard is exactly what I wanted to cover the fireplace in our small livingroom.

Poor Quality Cheap Metal

Aside from it coming damaged and bent, the quality of the Made in China screen is extremely poor. There was an unfinished welded corner aside from being bent. Very disappointed. I submitted my return ticket within the 5 day return window (the window of time with Woodland Direct where you avoid restocking and shipping fees) and was refunded the payment in full.
