Excellent Door, Bad Screws

The actual door is really nice and when installed is superb. I ordered the small size even though the medium would fit. The door opening size was still good. The reason i gave a 3 star is the hardware provided. First, if you try to use the screw pin and hook, it does notnslide enough to fit my fire place. When i tried to use the drill method, the screws provided are horrible and surely not meant for masonry. I ended up using my own purchased concrete anchors for this to work. Otherwise the actual door is fantastic and easy to assemble. But be prepared to buy your own concrete anchors.

i received the item on time, and it looks well-made and as described. While the quality seems good, I feel it is priced a bite high compared to similar items in other websites which is listed for $360 . overall slight reduction would make it an even better.

The product was missing the screws for the handles

I have 3 fireplaces that I wanted to winterize. Doors fit great! Reasonably easy to assemble. Looks great. Wil cover with magnetic insulated door cover for the winter. Can uncover to enjoy some burn time.

The doors may not fit properly.

We like the looks of the fireplace front/doors. However the glass doors do not fit properly, as if they are warped. We have called the manufacturer regarding our problem. We have emailed photos to them indicating the way the doors do not close properly and are waiting for their response.

Anybody can install this...

Easy to prepare and install. Video is helpful. Doesn't give too much details but a good in-a-nutshell instruction. Doable alone but an extra hand would make it even easier. Quality build and no missing parts. Exactly what I was looking for.

Availability, shipping time, ease of installation, quality, price, and appearance were all thumbs up and all 5-STARS for this purchase. I had just fabricated a custom mantel unit for our fireplace but I needed to put the "cherry on top"! This glass door unit worked out to be a perfect finishing touch. Our entire experience was a blessing from A to Z and we could not be more satisfied with the entire experience than we are right now! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fits great and gets the job done! The Matte black looks great against our black brick fireplace. I like the two doors over the bifold doors. Easy to install.

Very Nice especially for the price!

Had an issue with one of the doors being slightly bent, and contacted company, and was pleasantly surprised with how quickly they placed replacement on order! Nice looking and very easy to open and close doors, which has been issues in past with the fireplace screen I was replacing. I wish I would have watched their YouTube video before struggling for an hour, I watched it and everything made sense and was able install quickly.

Gives a ‘finished’ and clean look to the hearth.

The color is a true color.

We had to send the first one back because the inside screen door was bent. This was a factory defect. We had zero problems returning it and ordering the same item. The second one was perfect. We measured the opening of our fireplace and the doors fit exactly as it should.

Love our new fireplace doors

The Ardmore Black Fireplace Door is an attractive addition to our hearth. I like the fit and finish of the glass doors, screen panels and frame. As a first time installation project for me, I needed assistance from customer service to understand how to fit the doors on my fireplace. Fortunately the issue was fairly easy to address. I was able to complete the installation with a simple tweak. I'm glad have the new doors and look forward to using them.

[Rewarded Review] Attractive and well designed fireplace door

These fireplace doors will be replacing old, dated bronze doors. This product looks great with a clean brushed nickel finish. The instructions are fairly clear. The only trick seems to be the height of the bottom to the fireplace lintel. This will determine whether or not you install the included riser bar and how you connect the top of the doors to the lintel. A note in the instructions makes me think this will be a more airtight solution than my current bronze doors. These would be a great stylish addition to your fireplace.

The Pleasant Hearth Alpine Large Skyline Nickel Glass Fireplace Doors are beautiful and will upgrade your space. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this fit into the space. It looks great and modernizes and adds style to the space immensely. This was easy to install. The doors open fully at 180 degrees. There is a magnetic closure on each door. We love these stunning doors.

Our fireplace has been bricked up for decades and is not functional for now. We wanted something to cover the bricks and make it look like a functional fireplace. This fireplace door set does that. We may fill in around the stones to provide a better seal appearance around the edges or may just leave it as it is. Or we may remove the bricks and make it real again. Time will tell.

[Rewarded Review] High impact upgrade in 20 minutes

One of the most striking, and simple, upgrades ever! I picked up this Pleasant Hearth glass door set to replace a very outdated brass set. The Alpine design of these doors is done in nickel, a finish that is matte and very elegant. The chrome across the top of the glass doors sets off the matte nickle finish while also highlighting the black metal of the screens. And those screens! They're doors, not the fussy hanging chainmail that are always difficult to move away to access the fire. The glass is also set up like a door, not a folding panel, so there is no channel to gunk up with ash and make using the fireplace difficult. The ease of use ensures that you'll always close the screens, which is safer, as the screens keep sparks and ash inside the hearth. Installation was exceptionally easy, needing only two brackets at the top and compression fittings inserted with thumbscrews on the sides. The door set comes with a riser bar for openings that are a bit taller, but we ended up not needing the riser. The set also comes with insulation that fits into the back and protects the finish. The instructions indicate that two people might be needed, but I did this myself in much less time than the instructions indicated. I especially appreciate that the new doors are level, unlike the old ones. Once we remove the brick and put up black slate, this fireplace will be the focal point. For now, it's a thousand times better than the old brass version! We're super excited and can't wait to build the first fire behind this door set.
