Used on round front door

I purchased this hook to hang a wooden door hanger on my front door. I have a large round wood door that made traditional hangers impossible to use. This hook looks like a polished metal hook that belongs on the door. It’s held the 3 pound wooden door hanger on my door for 6 months in extreme weather without any issues. It looks really nice and functions very well! I just swapped out my everyday door hanger for a Christmas wreath and the hook works perfect for it too!

I purchased this item 12/4/2022 to hang my 3 pound Christmas wreath on our storm door that afternoon. Although I used great care to follow the mounting instructions, the adhesive gave way and all came crashing to the porch floor this morning, 12/6. As this was rated for outdoor use on smooth surfaces, I had great expectations, especially from 3M. So disappointed, wanted to give it zero stars but that was not an option.

Looks nice. Use command products all the time! This is the worse one I have ever purchased. I placed this on the front door. It has a glass door in front, so it is protected from the elements. We have not had cold temps yet. Placed a lightweight christmas decoration on it. It stayed on for about 4 days and then fell off. Disappointed as I hoped to avoid an over the door hanger. Plan to try another strip and see but doubtful now.

YOU WILL DEFINITELY REGRET IT

I did my research and read the reviews prior to purchasing. I was extremely excited to use these to hang my pictures, rods,etc. Besides, they would come in handy because my family was moving to a new house.

This will do it! Many years ago, my late Mother made me a beautiful decorative cushion for our piano. It has several “pictures” of memories of my youth and is something I have treasured over the years- especially since her death. I have wanted to use it as a hanging but haven’t found a way— until I came across the Command Adhesive Hooks and one of your short curtain rods. I ordered them, and as soon as the curtain rod come in I’ll install them with the cushion in a special place where her wonderful work will be on display for all to see! Thank you for helping me to bring back her memory in a wonderful way!!
