Moldy
The pot is heavy weight and gorgeous. However, due to it being stored outside, it is covered in a black mold that I haven't been able to remove. Also, the price sticker left and ugly white spot when removed.
I like the pot, it fit the mother-in-law plants then I purchased.
This tall terra cotta Modesto planter is simple and elegant! Perfect in any setting indoor or outdoor. I can’t believe how inexpensive this pot was! I bought three and would have gotten more but my three were the last in stock! I’m so lucky!
This thing is great. It's got a nice rustic vibe and is big enough for massive houseplants. I paired it with a dish and an upside-down milk crate as a plant stand, which give off a quirky kind of vibe, but you could easily pair it with something more elegant for a different vibe. All in all, great purchase, highly recommended!
Used for repotting my ponytail palm. Held up fine during moving and transferring plant. Purchased matching saucer. Sits well/looks nice on patio. Will update should it not hold up.
Love this planter. It is thick, heavy and a substantial. Not sure how I feel about the paler color compared to regular terracotta pots, it that’s easily changed. The wider base should benefit plant roots. Planned to pot up a lavender, but I think the size may be great for my potted lemon tree. Plan to also get the smaller planter.
Reasonable price. Thicker than the traditional Terra cottage which is nice. It does have one small drain hole. About 1" diameter. Nice addition to my outside garden
The pot is a good weight. It is plain. It fits in nicely with the other pots with out screaming look at me. I'm very pleased it's unfinished. The plants will breathe so much better.
Impressed
Purchased two of the 16in size and am impressed because they’re great and so inexpensive. Paid $50 for similarly sized pots that I don’t like any better. Highly recommend.
These are a great value. Large planters are expensive, but these are extremely reasonable. I bought several last year and they held up to the weather and still look great. So I bought several more. I planted several varieties of herbs in one and flowers in an other. I would buy more, but I am running out of space.
[Rewarded Review] Impressive Large Planting Pot
This is a large and substantial planting pot. The plastic is thick and feels very sturdy. I expect it will last for many years. The detail and finish on the pot is quite good, and the surface is smooth. The bottom of the pot includes a center point for a drain hole, but the owner has to open it. I think it would be helpful if the pot came with a saucer. Finding a saucer that is large enough and matches the terra cotta color won’t be easy. Overall, I recommend this nice planting pot.
[Rewarded Review] Big enough for a tree!
This planter is perfect for a tree that has a over-sized root ball. Its very deep and wide and its one of the thickest walled planters ive come across, its UV resistant so should last for years despite the Texas sunshine. This planter has many small holes around the rim that was quick to drill out. A great feature about this pot is that it has the thicker rims which is gives me something to grip onto when moving it into the greenhouse with a giant palm tree.
[Rewarded Review] Large Pot for a Small Tree
This Terra Cotta Color, Rolled Rim 22 inch recycled plastic planter is quite large. The picture does not show just how large it is, with the 22 inch wide mouth and standing about 20 inches high it will take large plant or small tree. It is light weight but feels strong and is made out of a recycled plastic which is thicker than the cheaper plastic pots. It holds up to 17 gallons of potting soil and I usually put some trap rock in the base before adding the soil. The bottom is sealed but has holes which you can knock out if you need the pot to drain water. I have a large Ficus tree in my Livingroom which is getting root bound so I plan to use this large pot to replant the tree. I am very pleased with this heavy duty pot and love the look of the terra cotta color and the decorative bands around the pot.
[Rewarded Review] Huge!!!
I was looking to replace a large terracotta pot that had cracked and saw this and thought here is my Perfect Replacement. I wanted big and didn't realize that this is bigger than big it's huge! I didn't realize that they came this big so I was tickled when it was delivered. It looks like terracotta but it is more of a very hard plastic. I appreciate the weight cuz I can't imagine if it were not plastic how heavy would be. There's a spot at the bottom that you can poke through for drainage and the quality is really nice and would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a very very large planter. Hope this helps
[Rewarded Review] Great for repotting palms!
I was very excited to discover this Bloem Planter in a 21.5 inch diameter! I have two Areca Palms that I started from seedlings and have pretty much outgrown their pots. With all the rain and gusty winds we have had recently, I had to pick them up at least a dozen times. Their pots were just not large enough to keep them balanced and not blowing over. Transplanting them into the Bloem Pot which has a capacity of 17 gallons of potting soil will give them the ability to withstand wind gusts with the extra weight. A definite plus, for me, is that the pot is made in the USA of 100% recycled plastic in a terra cotta color with four decorative rims around the entire pot. It is attractive, practical, and a genuine American product. What's not to love?
I am pleased with both the size and price of this TerraCotta Vase. The drainage hole at the bottom of the pot was significant for drainage to work properly. I was equally pleased that Home Depot displayed this item openly on a pallet and not just stacked on a shelf.
Thin plastic bottom
This looked like a sturdy container but doesn't have a whole in the bottom. It does have a small ring that looks like you can punch out the center but when I tried it cracked along the entire bottom. I cut the other holes out with a box cutter.
Cute pot alert!
I was unsure about the size of the pot but it’s about 10-15 gallons for the dimensions. It’s a cute pot! The price is good for the size of this pot. Any other brand is going to be 35$ and up. So worth it! I’m using it for my variegated lemon tree.

I love these clay pots. If you stick with them you can have a semi co-originated look in your yard. Pots are very expensive then days so this at $20 is a terrific bargain. If you want more color, I have actually washed some with watered down latex paint and they look great.

I have received so many compliments on these planters. I also have the larger one. The shape and color of these clay modern terra-cotta planters are beautiful and perfect. They also are not crazy over priced. Don’t ever discontinued them.
