Table is 42", not 52" as advertised. Cushions are thin and do not have zippers for when well will need to replace the padding. not overly difficult to put together would be easier with larger picture of the set up.

Whoops, I reviewed the umbrella as if it was the dining set… it’s great as well but the dining set is wonderful. Packed very well, delivery guys were so great. The chairs are so comfortable!

You'll want a socket wrench for assembly

Patio set seems solid and good quality. Seats might be a little narrow depending on your shape and size. Assembly can be tedious using the supplied tools, you'll want a 13mm socket wrench and maybe a small crescent wrench.

Damaged

Took 10 days to get here spent 2 hours assembling. Last piece was the table top. Got it together turned it over removed packaging and it was severely damaged ☹️ not in stock so they are picking it up Monday. Shipper damaged . Love the set looking for a local in stock equil

Table frame cracked , paint chipping away

Disappointing quality, the frame of the glass cable was cracked and the paint from both table and chair was beginning to chip. It’s sad that this turned out to be a poor quality product after I went through the hassle of hauling it to the patio and putting everything together.

Beautiful dining set

This set looks great. The table is well made and roomy. There is actually enough room for 6 to sit comfortably. The chairs are very comfortable and sturdy and the height is perfect for the table. i love how the chairs fit under the table when not in use. When the set arrived 1 of the chairs was scratched and the manufacturer was very responsive to the seller and a new chair was shipped.

Fabulous product, even better service

Love the set! I absolutely made the right decision going with Hanover Home. The shopping experience was great too. Hanover’s customer service is amazing! Without doubt, the best I’ve seen in many, many years. You guys deserve an award!

Disappointed

The set is decent for the price. However we did not receive the umbrella and now it must be picked up by the carrier and returned and Walmart will ship another one. You would think that they could simply ship the umbrella separately but not the case. So for 3 weeks Walmart has our money but we have no patio dining set. Not a good experience.

Quality patio set

I ordered this from Lowes last week, it took some time to assemble, since the chairs and table came wrapped with overkill, but that is a good thing, the final assemble time was two hours, the instructions could have been a little better, as the picture for the chair leg had numerous parts, with only a small picture to discern the parts. The table glass top is very heavy, two people are needed to lay it on top, the parts are well made, as well as the water resistance cushions. I like the Velcro fasteners at the backs to fasten them to the chair frames for anti- slip. I am well pleased with the Lavallette five piece patio set, it is a well made quality set.

Hanover Lavallette Patio Set

I had this set less than 2 months when I had to call the manufacturer and file a complaint because 2 of the chairs were tilting forward. First they said to readjust that they had settled in wrong, but that didn’t help. Finally, after emailing again I was sent 2 new chairs.

The set is very nice and the cushions are very comfortable. Our son assembled the table for us and said it was very easy. All the parts were included. The chairs came already assembled and that was a plus. We would definitely recommend this product. Also love the Oceans Blue color.

Height of table and chairs don’t match.

After spending several hours putting it together, I kept the furniture in the garage until the pollen quit covering everything on the patio and pressure washed the patio for the new furniture. After setting it up, we noticed the table is cafe height and the chairs are not. I don’t believe the chairs are adjustable. Other than that love the color and sturdiness.

The pictures make it look great - and it does look nice. Issues I have with this set: they just don't make things like they used to! For the price, its not as "sturdy" (the metal) as the set I've had for 20+ years (and probably paid 1/4 of the cost). When you sit in the chairs with both cushions - you lean forward almost - its not very comfortable for sitting around and chatting. I typically do not use the back cushions now. Putting it together wasn't that difficult (as long as all of the holes lined up nicely) - but it was time consuming with 2 people. I also didn't pay much attention to the height - its a lot shorter than my previous "bar height" set. Wish we could go back to when things were made with pride and not just shipped overseas to do the jobs for the least cost.

Outdoor dining set

This is a good grade set for the money, but not top notch. Make sure you have room for the 54" table, plus the four chairs pulled up. Item shipped in 2 pieces, which made the 160lb ship weight manageable. Intsructions suggest coating metal w/car wax, a good suggestion and easier prior to assembly. Chairs are stackable, require no assembly. The table has some assembly, not bad, but the chintzy wrench included is not that easy to work with, and metric fittings are hard to find if using your own wrench set. Overall, good product for the money, look for 20% discount offer for new registered customers

Just what I expected

I saw other reviews complaining about how beat-up the boxes were on arrival. I thought that was just a delivery issue but mine arrived a bit beat-up as well. But the set is well packaged so the cushions and a ton of bubble wrap surround the chairs. There wasn't a single scratch on any piece.

Also helps to have additional tools, the ones with the set aren't so easy to work with. Thick chair pads and large table make for a nice family space.

Be careful of the company you buy from.

The table and chairs were as pictured quite nice. The chairs are slightly small and didn't rock real well but were more than adequate. My major problem was that I broke the glass tabletop while trying to put in an umbrella. The customer service there was not great. I asked about replacing the glass there and they said they did not have glass replacement although I was willing to pay. I asked about purchasing a new table with the top and again told me they can't do that. They also said if glass was broken during shipping they could replace which leads me to believe they have replacement glass. Xo long story short I had to purchase a new table elsewhere that was an aluminum top. So 4 stars for the table and chairs and zero for Hanover Customer disservice.

We looked forever for this set and couldn't be happier with our choice. It's the PERFECT size, well made, lightweight and gorgeous. It's not a large set with large, heavy chairs (which we didn't want in the space we needed it for) so anyone looking for a heavy duty set with large chairs may not want this set. However, for us, this was just exactly what we needed. The huge bonus for us was the color. The ocean blue cushions are very classy and the black framing accents this set really well. The other thing we love (didn't know it until we unpacked it) is that the glass top is opaque (not clear) which will be easy to clean and maintain. We highly recommend this set. Oh, and by the way, you really CANNOT beat the price!

Piece of Junk

Do not buy this product. Forced to give one star but would have rated this product zero stars if I could. Arrived in busted boxes. The table top ring was dented so the glass doesn't sit properly on top. I have requested countless times from the manufacture to send a replacement part. They have not replaced the the broken part to date. Then a cushion started coming apart. They sent a replacement. However, before long the replacement cushion started coming apart. So we have given up with the manufacture. Purchased on our Lowes credit card. We hope Lowes will help us with this problem. Again, save your money and look for another set.

We are now looking for either taller chairs or a lower table. Too bad. I love the look. Wish I'd paid more attention to the measurements. My own fault.
