The vanity was installed at the beginning of August 2022. The cabinet itself had a very distinct unpleasant odor from the very beginning, but we hoped that it will dissipate with time. It's been two months, but the odor is still very strong though the cabinet doors and window in the bathroom have stayed open for two months! I also wiped the insides and put two trays with baking soda inside the cabinet, one on each shelf, but it didn't help! We can't use this bathroom, and I am not sure what else can I do, but call the contractor and ask him to disassemble the vanity and remove it out of the remodeled 1/2 bath... I'll be grateful for advice, but not sure where to get it. The smell comes from the inside the cabinet, and I suspect that it has something to do with the electrical outlet wiring material, because this is the first vanity with the built-in outlet we bought, and actually the most expansive one. I ordered this at the beginning of our remodel project. We opened the box and made sure that the marble was not damaged and accepted the shipment. The cabinet and marble top came separately. Through covid the project had been delayed. My contractor installed it last week and the sink hole and the hole for the faucet are and inch off. In addition because of the poor workmanship there is a gap where the sink and the marble should meet and be sealed. I am very disappointed in this product and would never recommend it. I advise anyone who has ordered are recently received it make sure the dimensions and the predrilled holes are accurate. I now will have to spend money to recut and repair. I would like to bill HOUZZ or the manufacturer for the repair.
