Love the size but Food sticks

I have had this large pot for about a year and although I really wanted to love it, I sadly don't. When I cook anything other than soup in this pot, the food sticks horribly to the bottom. If I cook Sunday Sauce or Chili, to name a few, it will stick to the bottom even with constant stirring. When I make soup, I don't have this issue. For the price, I expected more. Unfortunately, I think I have to finally admit this pot needs to be replaced with something that can cook more than just soup without the food sticking. At least it is easy to clean after use.

Poor Quality - Did not last 3 years

I bought this in August 1991. Le Creuset advertises as "heirloom" cookware. It should last longer than 3 years. I take very good care of all of my Le Creuset products. This pot developed a hole that has gone through the pot over time. It was expensive and now unusable. I have other brand cookware that I've had over 30 years and they don't promote themselves as "heirloom" quality. Very disappointed.

Disappointed - Everything Sticks to the Bottom

I'm really disappointed with this stockpot. No matter what I cook - whether it's pasta, rice, or soup - everything sticks to the bottom. At first, I thought my first pot was defective, but after customer service kindly replaced it, the new one has had the same issue. It's frustrating because I've had great experiences with other Le Creuset products, but this stockpot just doesn't live up to the brand's reputation.

Excellent cookware

This stock pot makes cooking pasta quick and yummy. Cleans up easily. Like all my Le Creuset cookware, it’s top notch.

Being a fan of Le Creuset I order this for my collection. It wasn’t a heavy duty stock pot as I expected. It has chipped twice causing rust on the inside. I still use it but make sure to clean rust off before use.

Pot Full of Goodness

What a step up from my old porcelain pot. There's definitely a difference with the even cooking. And what a sale!

Le Creuset has done it again. This pot heats quickly so if you need to cooking or boil something fairly quickly, this is your new standard. Love the color and design which brings a pop of color into the kitchen. It’s so easy to clean that it doesn’t feel like a chore to do the dishes when I’m done cooking. This will be a staple in our household for years to come.

Waste of money

Stay away from this stockpot. This does not perform at the level that we expect for a Le Creuset product. I have used my pot three times and have it stored in a safe spot where nothing can dang it, I cannot understand how a chip developed on the bottom on the exact spot on both sides - if something minor dinged it and caused this kind of damage that is unacceptable. Le Creuset refuses to stand behind the warranty. This pot is a piece of garbage - not worth the price.

This is a great stockpot except...

This stockpot has become one of my family's go to. Unfortunately, after the first time cooking pasta we discovered a chip on the enamel inside the pot.

Gorgeous but not practical

I got this pot for Christmas 2023 and have only used it a few times because it sticks so terribly. My other pans and pots with the coated cast iron are easy to clean, but this ceramic coating on the bottom attracts pasta like a magnet! Everything sticks to the bottom immediately when you add it. If that's not bad enough, it's never been soaked and has always been hand washed but the gold trim around the top of the pot is turning silver in spots. Other than just sitting in the cabinet, nothing else could have caused this. It's not a quality product like you'd expect in my opinion.

Misleading origin of manufacture location.

When mine came in there was a “Made in Taiwan” sticker on the pot. Aren’t these supposed to be made in France? QVC you need to be transparent on product origin, you at least owe that to your customers. Not mislead them on where it came from just for the sake of a sale. This is not a true Le Crueset from France.

Label sucks!

How do you get the label off without damaging the pot? I thought buying it from Williams Sonoma would keep the cheap stickers off of it. No such luck.
