Nightmare Settee

First, I want to say once put together it is a nice looking settee. Secondly, this was a nightmare to assemble. This literally took all evening and I wanted to give up. The drilled holes do not match up and the instructions are worthless. I figured out how to put it together without instruction. This is really not worth what I paid. I have it together and it would be a hassle to send back. I am over 60 and did this by myself. I would not recommend buying this unassembled. We will see if it holds up.

This piece is beautiful...I purchased as seating in my kitchen and could not he more pleased with quality and look. Highly recommend!

Perfect size and fits in many spaces

Exactly as pictured. Sturdier than expected. Has lived in several different rooms in our home and always fits perfectly. The color on the fabric is a little darker than expected but it still works.

This store is sorely lacking in quality control.

I'm no stranger to putting together furniture out of a box. I got all the pieces out & lined up & got to work. I sat there for an hour & the screws would NOT screw in. I felt annoyed but also dumb - like what am I doing wrong? I reluctantly asked my husband to help (I hate asking him because I know that I am fully capable myself). He managed to figure out that the holes had no screw inserts (where the screws are supposed to screw in). They were just empty wooden holes. This is NOT okay. It is such a minor defect yet such a huge pain in the butt - now he has to go to a hardware store & root around for the exact inserts needed. For the money I paid for this thing it should come FULLY equipped with the basic parts necessary to build it. Next, the left arm piece had screw holes but were covered with black lining. Like seriously?!?! My husband had to rip the lining off to get to the holes. Then the back part wouldn't line up. I watched my husband mess around with this thing for HOURS. He's a perfectionist & cannot help himself. He managed to get the back somewhat lined up, but it's flawed to be sure. It is a cute seat but for all the defects it is not WORTH it!

Charming in my bedroom

More for looks rather than sitting comfortably but its perfect for where I needed a settee! Style is great, a little bit of work to put together!

Perfect Settee!!!

This settee is everything I was looking for my tearoom, in the house. It's sturdy and sits very well. If you are on the fence, purchase it! You will not be disappointed!! I changed the pillows out, only because I was wanting a different look (the pillows it comes with are just fine).

It is absolutely beautiful! Assembly was easy - it took two of us less about 35 minutes to have it fully assembled. The fabric has a nice texture.

Luxury in the bar

This was a wee bit intimidating to assemble but I did it. I love this piece of furniture. It is rock solid and well made. Suggest you not tighten the bolts completely when assembling. Leave some wiggle room until all pieces are together then tighten.

Extremely Disappointed.

Don't buy from Overstock. I canceled this item in less than 8 hours after realizing it wouldn't fit! But now they are telling me that it's too late to cancel and will have to pay to have it shipped back!

The box was delivered and appears it was open and retaped closed. Which leads me to believe it may be a return. I have not opened the box to inspect.

I loved the picture online. The settee was perfect for the end of my bed. Unfortunately, the screw holes did not match and it was impossible for my husband to assemble.

beautiful and easy to assemble

We were looking for a small settee and this one was just perfect. It is small but very functional, 2 people can sit there very comfortable. The color is beautiful and it was very easy to assemble. We are so happy with it!

Cute Settee

Cute Settee! Settee arrived a couple days early and was packed well. Assembly is required but very easy (approximately 30 min). The only downside are the pillows. They're just not cute and don't add anything to the Settee. Not a big deal, getting a couple of accent pillows is an easy fix. Overall great product and I definitely recommend. Hopefully the attached pictures help.

Attractive Loveseat, with a Side of Frustration

The instructions were not difficult, and the Allen wrench was included so no additional tools were needed. However, the pre-drilled bolt holes on one side panel did not line up with those on the side of the couch frame, so extensive manhandling and forcing was necessary, jumping up and down on the back frame to bring it into alignment with the side panel. Also, one of the holes for the legs did not work well so extreme measures were employed to get the leg to go all the way in as well. I have health issues that were exacerbated by all the huffing and puffing while trying to force this settee together. Had the piece been pre-assembled in a dry-fit then disassembled again for shipping these difficulties should not have happened. As a result, it took hours more to assemble than it ought to have. There are also dozens of loose threads still, even after snipping at them for 30 minutes. I have assembled furniture in the past, with less exhaustion post-assembly. I would expect a brand that considers itself a quality furniture maker to put in the effort to do a dry-fit on each piece to avoid these issues. Attractive, but not especially comfortable, settee.

Adorable!

I received this settee very quickly! My husband and I put it together fairly easily. It is very pretty good quality and I would have liked to have given 5 stars but when my husband sat on it for the first time, he compared it to a "rock". He is correct but we are keeping it because it's adorable and is in a room that is barely used.

Perfect two seater

Perfect addition to my living room! The settee color matches the description, and it is just enough space for two seats with a slim design. I would buy this again and definitely recommend it.
