Drawer bottoms without support
This piece of furniture is a piece of junk that fell apart nearly as soon as it was put together. The drawer bottoms are not supported or attached well enough so they slide out of their position. I would not reccomend this purchase to ANYONE.
Avoid
The instructions for this were very poor and the dowls and parts were not quality. I have purchased and put together numerouse dressers and sideboards from Target and other outlets. I woudl not dvise people to not buy.
Just dont.
Had it for 2 years and then went to move it and this thing is barely even standing now. Total waste of money. Middle drawer broke, the drawers can’t hold hardly any clothing at all without the bottom become unattached it’s terrible.
The dressers are beautiful and fit well in our space. The instructions provided are not the best - there’s was a lot of room for interpretation but all the same I put each together in ~1hr or so. For the price it’s worth it.
As everybody said in the previous reviews, the manual to assembly the dress chest do not shows details assembly steps to follow. It does shows the step by step but don’t specify with screw goes where as other furniture.
Terrible, this comes disassembled but the predrilled holes in everything are off so the drawers don't slide in all the way or are off. The top drawer isn't closing because the handle is in the way. It also looks like wood, but it's particle board. Wish I could return but it's 30 pieces out of the box and too much of a pain to do so.
Bad Quality
Drawers were not the right size had to have them cut down ; when placing the drawers into the dresser the drawers did it aligns properly. Instructions were terrible as well. Looks like good quality , terrible quality
Nice little dresserChanged the handles because I felt the brass colored aluminum looked cheapThe volatile organic compound smell was very strong so I set it out in the sun for a few hours to bakeThis reduced the odor and irritants down to an acceptable level
It looks good
The instructions suck and like half of my pieces (including hardware) were not labeled so I hope I used the correct screws in the correct spots. They drilled holes in the wrong place on a couple of my boards so I had to make new holes. Took me over 4 hours to put it together, but it looks nice. For $191 (on sale after taxes) I would think it would be of a little more higher quality and they would label everything and out the holes in the correct snice.
Looks great for the price.
Easy to build. Had to adjust the bracket slides once or twice but other than that, easy peasy.
Instructions were awful, very difficult to put together. Finished product...
Instructions were awful, very difficult to put together. Finished product is poor quality and doesn’t work well. Will be replacing soon.
DO NOT BUY!!!
Save your money!! This thing is a piece of absolute crapola. I should have ordered from Ikea. now, I dont even think I can retuen it! The top spilts open because its not reinforced. Its made with super cheap particle board and it splits easily when putting it together. screws dont stay because they fall out of the particle board in the drawer pullls.
Assembly is the worst
Horrible to assemble
Pretty Dresser...Hard to Assemble
Warning: assembly NOT for beginners/novices. I just spent the past hour and a half or so attempting to put this dresser together with help. I have put other furniture together before, but the instructions are not as easy to follow as I would have liked. For instance, there are 2 sets of screws (M6 and M7) that are the same length but are different widths, and I got them mixed up and used the larger width ones on the back top piece which resulted in drilling through the back because it was too large. However, the material there is particle board so it does not allow for multiple drills, and I have to leave it. I just emailed the manufacturer hoping they can provide me with another 2 screws so I can finish the dresser - the M6 x 50mm screws do not appear to be a common screw for purchase. I believe it will look nice once it's done though.
Some item parts don’t fit where they’re suppose to. No instruction manual anywhere to be found.
I knew this would be a lower quality based on the price, but chunks were literally falling off as i screwed pieces together. There are pieces only held together by wooden pegs that also break easily.
This is a very pretty dresser when it is finally...
This is a very pretty dresser when it is finally put together. I'm giving this a poor rating because this dresser comes with the worst set of assembly instructions I have ever seen. There are no written instructions...there is a 2 page brochure with pictures of assembly. The print is so small you cannot even see any details. It took myself and my brother 4 hours to figure out how to put this together. We literally put it together and had to take it apart 4xs because very important steps and the order of assembly are left out of the instructions. It was a wonder we didnt break the thing from all the screwing and unscrewing. I bought this dresser for its sleek look in the picture but it is hardly worth the effort trying to put it together. For the price it should come fully assembled.
DISASTER but looks great when done
Ok this was a DISASTER to unpack (took three hours just to unpack because of the HORRIBLE packing breaking off and going everywhere) and just impossible to put together. Unless you’re an engineer, forget it. However, we did manage to put it together with much difficulty and it does look amazing once it’s complete but holy hell I wouldn’t have bought this if I knew how annoying it would be.
No. Just no. Please.
Do. Not. Purchase. Not only are the instructions terrible but the quality of it is even worse! I’d give it zero stars if I could. Target should be ashamed to sell something this poorly made. I’m not one to normally write a review, much less complain, but this is so SO bad that I’d be willing to contact them if I thought it would do me any good. Unfortunately for me though, it’s outside the window to return.
Dont recommend
I seen the bad reviews but still purchased it because I liked the way it looked. That was a mistake. Halfway through assembling it, a piece did not fit. It was too large. Maybe a manufacturing error. Maybe I could’ve gotten my dad to cut the piece smaller but I didn’t want to go through all of that and it should’ve been the correct size in the first place. Also I got purchase protection for $25 extra dollars and perhaps they could’ve replaced the part. Idk. But the dresser was cheap particle board and I decided just to return it and get a solid wood dresser. It wasn’t worth it to me to keep. Also I can’t return the purchase protection so that’s $25 lost. I wish I would’ve listened to the reviews. Also the instructions are bad. They’re just diagrams and not written instructions
