Pretty SL dupe but terribly uncomfortable for any extended period of time. I’d say after 5-10 mins we are ready to move to sit somewhere else. Great color and workmanship, otherwise.

I love these stools. They are so beautiful. They seem very sturdy. There is additional support on the bottom of the seat.

Relationship Status: Love-Hate – and Bewildered! . . I’ve recently researched and made a number of household furniture and decor purchases – brick-and-mortar and online. Worned down by the many retailer (bait-and-switch) traps, I was iso quality options to the usual (go-to) retailers. Since I already receive Houzz design emails, I thought I’d try them for a vanity bench. . Bottom Line: I love (the idea of) this design – perfect for my vanity console and modern-rustic decor; but the quality (#HatingIt!); and I’m so puzzled by the 5-star reviews (then, 85%) that helped me to decide on this purchase when the item delivered (to me) doesn’t even rise to 3-stars. And not even the recent general across-the-board decline in retail customer-service could explain away the lack of quality here. Regrettably, what I didn’t check (before purchasing) was the reviews for the Butler Specialty Co. (I didn’t know it was a thing until the day of delivery when I was prompted to dig into why I received such a poor-quality item.) . I analyze reviews and I recognize quality (or the lack thereof); so, I can only surmise that there’s been a significant change in processes (since the most recent 5-star review), the other reviewers are not genuine, or I’m a serious outlier. . Highlights (my take-a-ways): . Packaging was less than impressive: From the appearance of the box, this unit has been sitting around in some hot warehouse for a long, long time – perhaps as long as the “Date of Delivery” stamped on the underside (i.e., November 2021). It also has signs of repackaging. . Design/Frame: I understand “foldable”, but why didn’t the description specify that the seat doesn’t lock into the frame – and there’s no option to anchor it there. (This is hardly a “perfect mix of form and function”...UGH!!!) . Leather Seating: crunchy, rigid, uncomfortable, and has serious memory (absolutely no rebound); sounds and feels like I’m sitting on a compressed haystack. . Frame/Seating (metals): The colors (on the frame and seating) don’t match – PLUS the pads at the bottom seem to be a tacky afterthought (not anchored and off-centered) (“...applied by experts”?!!!) . Aesthetics: taking into consideration the shape-memory defect/deformity, sloppy paint job, and mismatched color of metals, the aesthetics are nothing sort of disappointing. But from a distance in a dark room, it may be okay/acceptable to someone with lower standards.

Favorite seat in the house!

There are other stools on the market that look 'like' these, but they are not the same. These are much sturdier and will last. If you just want to look at your stools, go ahead and save money. But, if you want to use them, these are the way to go. The colors are vibrant. I was a bit disappointed that the tops are woven plastic of some sort, but I actually now appreciate it. They will last a lot longer and hold color better than a natural fiber. I was surprised how comfortable they are. Since everyone gathers on the kitchen, these will be the favorite seats in the house!

Love these stools...look exactly as described and in pictures. Only complaint is they are a tad uncomfortable. When you sit on them the weaving sinks in a bit and you feel the wood bars on the front and back edges....not terrible, will still enjoy having them.

I just did a full master bathroom remodel and was so excited to find this cute stool to use at the vanity. It's sturdy,cute, and arrived very quickly. Plus, it's so unique. I highly recommend it!

The stool is a beautiful leather and iron work. A defect is that the top is secured to the legs with a single, small screw at each corner. Because the iron is to heavy, the top pops off when the stool is lifted. We put felt on the bottom of each leg so the stool doesn't need to be lifted when moved and the floor is protected.
