I went through the programming and it seemed to work but it would not turn off. Tried it again and it seemed like it had the original programming when I started programming the second time.

It’s supposed to also sense the amount of light in a room and NOT turn on the light it controls when the room is brightly lit by sunlight, as an example. Regardless, it still turns on the light.

Good motion switch

Works well. Directions were clear. Changing the settings took a few tries to get it right, but not bad.

The right up for the switch does say you don't need a neutral, but it does need a ground. An old homes that doesn't happen. Which then makes the switch useless unless you go to all the trouble of running a ground wire or rewiring your house.

Installation is relatively easy. I installed this for the laundry room because many times your hands are full and trying to reach the switch can be challenging? The preset settings seem to be good for most situations? However, making changes can be difficult because of trying to keep track while making multiple button pushes to set a different sensitivity and/or time out.

Way to difficult to program

I have used the Lutron version of this in the past but accidentally bought this one. It looked okay so I decided to install anyway. I found it very difficult to program the modes and pushing the button did not feel smooth like the Lutron version.

This is my third Leviton motion sensor. I have one in my garage and another in my laundry room. Both have been working to my satisfaction for several years. So this one I installed in a bathroom. They are so handy but tricky to program.

This motion sensor is very sensitive to movement and turns the light on the moment you walk into the room.

These motion sensors work great! They are pretty simple to install and I ended up installing six of them in one day. Good quality (after all, they are made by Leviton) and price.

Great-working Leviton Motion Sensor light switch. I bought it for my master bedroom closet. Install was as simple as killing the power at the panel, disconnecting the old switch (3 wires - ground, neutral (white), and hot (black), and rewiring and reinstalling. Total time was less than 10 minutes. Flathead and phillips screwdrivers were the only tools used. I bought a new rectangular faceplate at HD as well as the switch doesn’t come with one. It’s nice to just walk in the room, grab what I want, and walk out without flipping a switch. I’ve swapped out a bathroom and laundry room light as well.

Used in a linen closet. Comes on when opening door. Goes off after a couple of minutes
