Solid pitcher

I purchased this because I wanted a glass pitcher for iced tea instead of plastic. I chose Libbey because my everyday glassware is Libbey and has stood the test of time. I chose this style because I thought it was contemporary looking. I have not been disappointed.

There's a huge thick seam down the center which they don't show. It's okay from the side, but that seam is ugly. The pitcher itself doesn't feel very sturdy either with the little base and then how it flairs out above the base.
