Big issue is the leaking but it also will restricts water volume if your using full port bib valves.. For anyone with the standard hose bibs (most people) probably wont notice any difference because those hose bibs have small holes. Its going back.

installed quickly, reels up the hose very smoothly and I love being able to rotate the reel in the direction it's needed (left for the garden, right for washing off the lawn mower and center for washing the car!) - a really handy feature.

No. No. No. No. No. Do not buy this product or they will send you a used, damaged, return that somebody else broke so they took it out on you.. The first thing I noticed opening the box: The box itself was made of thick cardboard that was weak. The brackets, punched holes through it like they wanted out. The shelf was badly scratched on the bottom. I thought, "No problem. That part's not going to show, anyway." The little knob atop the shelf was broken so badly that you could see it had been split into at least3 pieces on the actual hard plastic knob. they only sent 1 of the little broken pieces or I could have superglued it. The threading was split in half on one side inside the knob. I am good at fabricating little parts with Polymer clay, I even re-made the place on the wood where our bathroom door latches and now it locks for the first time ever as it wasn't lined up right, but this is beyond my ability, and the icing on the cake? It does not rotate even one ° !!!!!!! I am an extremely angry customer. They sent me an item someone else rejected. I don't know if they will make a remedy or not. They better not tell me I have to pay the shipping to return it. If they want to remedy, they should advise what to do to unfreeze the spinning mechanism. It looks complicated in there. They should also send me a new little knob. I don't give a crud about the shelf having a little character. Or, they should just send me a mailing label I don't have to pay for and send Fedex here to collect their unusable product. This has been absurd. I don't even know what to do. So tired of fighting garbage peddlers. If it would at least rotate, I'd figure out my own fix for it because I'm a creative person and a lifelong crafter. But, I have no idea how to unfreeze the spinning mechanism under the big cover. maybe 3 in 1 oil?

Love It! Mount it Correctly!

Good, solid hose reel! Be careful with mounting base though. If you have brick, mount it on the BRICK and not the mortar! I used Red Head sleeve anchors, 5/16” x 2.5”. Got at H. Depot. I made the mistake of trying to mount in the mortar and made a mess. My mortar is too sandy and made the holes too big. Brick mount worked perfectly with an impact drill. Piece of cake!

Its perfect easy install looks very sturdy and I love being able to take the attachment off with the hose for winter storage.

Love this thing! Mounted it about 4 feet high on an exterior wall - very handy height. Keeps your hose clean & off of the ground. If you're thinking about getting one of these just do it.

Love these. They are so much better looking and stronger than all the other ones I’ve had in the past. And I like the shelf too.

Not worth it swivel does not stay in place when you are trying to reel back the hose .Everything moves after a while and have to keep tightening up the reel on the top

Love that it hangs on the wall and swivels

Installed it yesterday and it was easy. Added 150ft of hose and it works perfectly. No leaks and is off my floor. My other reel sat on the floor and always would move around when pulling the hose out. Nice that the reel is stationary and doesn't move around. Heavy duty mounting bracket and very happy with this. Love the shelf too.
