This is more of a jute rug, it’s softer than some, but it feels like a jute rug, so it’s not soft just because it’s cotton. It is a bit on the thin side. I’m using it under my dining room table so thickness is not important, but I wouldn’t use it on a space where you will be sitting on the floor a lot. At least, not without a pad added underneath Overall, much nicer than expected, especially for the price.

I ordered the grey 10x14 and I am so happy with this rug! First, it’s more of a taupey grey than a true grey which is what I wanted. It matches perfectly with my linen curtains (drop cloths). Very neutral and beautiful. It’s thin- I have a thick pad underneath it to prevent slipping. Let’s say someone (definitely not me but she looked just like me) spilled marinara sauce on it and it cleaned up perfectly with some warm water and dish soap. It hides dirt great, my two dogs run on it daily without an issue - no pulls or tears. A very cheap 10x14 rug that’s doesn’t look or perform cheaply - sign me up! You’ll love it, it’s just gorgeous!

I purchased and received this rug in May. I like to test an item before reviewing it, to see how it holds up in my home with 3 big dogs. I prefer natural fibers, and I don't want to pay too much so my choices are limited. I have to say, we've been through a few rugs, but this one is incredible! It's soft, it's beautiful, and it's incredibly durable. I'm hoping it holds up to a wet winter, and maybe a wash in a big machine if needed. I got a few more for my hallways.
