The barstools are comfortable, I am 5'2" so sometimes they don't work well. My friend is even shorter and really liked them. My tall brother liked them as well. They look rich, and are well made. Only thing I was surprised about is they are suede not faux leather. Another friend wants to buy them.

Nice set of counter height stools

Quality appears on point. Build was relatively simple, took longer to unbox and get organized than it did to actually put the stools together.

Good value

Mid-century modern with farmhouse touch. Not high-end chairs but not cheap quality, either. Solid wood design provides sturdy support. Low back surprisingly offers good support. The cushion isn't very thick but again, not uncomfortable. The textured boucle fabric is nice but not easy to clean; cushion easy to remove for future updates. The stickers on side foot rails were mislabeled, will be obvious during assembly. Alignment slightly off, legs do not sit level on ground - solved with felt pad.

Faux leather counter height chair

I love the look of the chairs. Colors what we were wanting. However, I feel like material is more of a faux suede. I’m worried that it’ll stain so much easier because of the material. I did drop some water onto it and it just beaded up/didn’t soak through so hopefully that means it’ll last.

Cute, but quality was disappointing

The stool look really good! However, 2 out of the 3 stools I ordered are super wobbly. I followed the instructions to try to even out the legs, but one of the legs just seems way shorter than the others. For the price I paid for these, I would expect higher quality from the stools, instead of having to find a way to make the legs even. Would recommend trying to find different stools.

Stylish yet affordable

Purchased these stools for our newly remodeled kitchen. They are not only stylish yet affordable and better yet they have a back.

Just what I needed!

These bar stools are the perfect material for little kids. All spills and messes easliy wipe off without staining the fabric. I love the heigh of the back of the chairs -- enough room for back support without hitting the countertop.

Beautiful counter stools

These chairs offer a simplistic, yet elevated design with the boucle fabric. I wasn't able to adjust them to fix the wobbling, but I just added fabric protectors to the sides that needed it.

Bar Stools

Wood Counter Height Bar Stool Light Brown: I ordered two of these stools to begin with and since I have received them have had so many compliments on the style, the color and best of all they can hold up to 300 pounds which most bar stools don't do. I have a son that is 6'6" and I am very conscience about making everyone comfortable the comes into my home. These fit the bill and have since ordered another one. They are easy to assemble and all the parts were there! A great buy and I highly recommend them.

Nice chairs but...

Very easy to put together with minimum effort. Fabric is a little darker than expected. More of a light brown color. Pictures in ad show a lighter fabric.

Gorgeous chairs

I ordered a set of 4. During assembly I noticed a piece from two of the chairs were not made correctly. I contacted Nathan James customer service and they were so quick to ship two replacement chairs. The new chairs had no issues. Please don't hesitate to buy these chairs, they look great, are comfortable and they clean up so well. Their customer service is unbeatable.

Nice, good-looking set of stools

I like the look of these stools very much. They nicely tie together the kitchen and are acceptable quality overall. Some of the screw holes (for the cross bars at the feet area) were machined too large for the screws they included in the set, so I had to use some of my own larger screws and some wood glue. But other than that, they are decent, good-looking stools.

Exactly as pictured

I knew these were the right counter stools for me when the website showed them against a large painted island. It was a perfect preview to our application so the decision was easy. They took 2 of us about 2 hours to put together, & although it wasn’t terribly difficult, I prefer to buy furniture that is not so much a DIY project. They seem sturdy, are comfortable, and they look nice against the black and white Island in our kitchen. It took a couple of weeks to ship, but arrived a day earlier than the promised delivery date. Overall a good purchase. I hope they hold up.

Love these stools!!

These stools are beautiful, just what I was looking for! High quality. Took Scotchguard well. I had an issue with one of the chairs I received and a new one was sent out right away. The customer service was very friendly and extremely helpful even after hours. Honestly, it took hours all together to make sure these stools didn’t wobble. The first chair was warped. After adjustments, they look and feel great. -1 star because of the hours I lost trying to even these chairs out.

Solid and stylish

I went back and forth on which barstools to order and I'm so glad we landed on these. Not only do they look incrediable but they are sturdy and comfortable. I was initally worried that the back of the seat would not be as comfortable due to it being a lower height, but that's not even an issue at all! They are perfect. I actually like how the chair backs don't stick over-top of the coutners.

These are gorgeous! The perfect mid-century modern look for my kitchen. These are comfortable as far as counter chairs go (though they’re almost too gorgeous to sit on). Offer a little lower back support. My partner said they were a little complicated to assemble you have to fiddle with them to get them aligned. Regardless, such a classy look. Sturdy.

Easy to assemble-one of the better instructions sheets I’ve gotten. Sturdy to sit on, no rocking or creaking at first use. Look nice too!

The perfect barstools! They’re very comfortable to sit in. We were nervous that they would not match some of our other furniture, but the colors are as pictured so everything works great!
