excellent bed sheets. when i dry them in the dryer they do not shed, no lint in the filter. should last forever. i bought them at an excellent price. i purchased 1 set. washed before 1st use. no lint in dryer. slept on them. next day i checked walmart for price. ordered another set. threw out all of my old sheets. buy of the century.

Who puts tags on the OUTSIDE of pillowcases?

These sheets are lovely, but who would be so dumb to put large tags on the OUTSIDE of the pillowcases and sheets? Imagine trying to sleep with a tag against your face? These aren’t the kind of tags you can just tear off. They are sewn down. I would have returned these sheets for this reason, but I needed them for guests coming. When I removed the tags one of the pillowcases became unstitched, so I had to sew it! What a pain. Hopefully enough people will complain or return the sheets so the manufacturers will put the tags on the inside, the way every sheet I’ve ever had is.

Save Your Money. Buy Softer, Less Smelly Sheets Instead

Pros: Sheets really stay on the bed even though my husband manages to pop the sheets off his side with every other set. Not these! They stay firmly in place. Cons: Not very soft. Stiff and scratchy. Plus they smelled awful. I had to wash them twice with heavy detergent to get rid of the smell.

Horrible Smell

Just bought these size king about 1 week ago. First, definitely not Ultra Silky Soft and boy did they smell. I washed them immediately! Used Odoban, downy beads and softener, detergent, as well as, oxiclean. Maybe overhaul, but they really smelled that bad. The smell came out mostly, but did not leave them with the fresh, downy wash smell like my normal laundry. The only thing I liked was the strong elastic band. I would not recommend! Wait until Black Friday and get a better product and bargain!

Rough, awful sheets

I ordered these for my son and they arrived quickly. However, they are nothing like the description. The sheets smelled like vomit. I washed them and the smell dissipated, but these are anything but silky. They are white on one side and the color on the other. Very odd way to dye them. The sheets are rough and not soft at all, much less silky. I cannot imagine sleeping on these. The quality is very poor.

Soft, smooth and high quality!

I finally found the perfect sheets. These are wonderfully soft and smooth. The material is high quality and not super thin like so many sheets these days. I am going to buy another set right away- I have found that if I don’t get extra of something great like these sheets, when I need another set, they are no longer available. That’s nothing against JCPenny- it’s just true of everywhere nowadays.

Well made but fabric is rough to the touch

I am disappointed in these sheets. They are extremely well made. I'll give the company that. The pockets aren't deep, but we have older, thinner mattress so they work fine. My problem is, I have sensitive skin & the fabric is not smooth like my sheets I replaced. I would have bought those again, but could not remember where they came from. I would send them back, but I took them out of packaging & washed them. Hopefully won't interfere with my sleep. I am putting I would recommend only because of the construction

Horrible

I have bought my sheets from Sam's for years and loved them, but this 1200 thread group felt like sleeping on gauze. They are really rough and I swear I got burns moving around in bed. I liked the size it fit nicely because i have a big mattress with a 4 in high comphy pad on top of it. The color was good, it said colorfast on them which i had never seen before. The package they came in was very smooth and silky but one I took them out of the silky envelope they were very rough and burny. They were suppose to be cooling and they werent. I know eceryone os changing because of the times but I never expected this, I will go back to buying them in the store. I really thought somone bought another kind and put them in the silky envelope and returned them to make more money than they spent because these were not Sam's usual quality.

Disappointed

I ordered these sheets thinking they were the same set of really nice sheets I bought from Sam's Club before. But these sheets are below average to average. Not what I expected. Description said they were 18" corners but no way that is true. They feel and seem like low quality to me. I am disappointed and was hoping for something better for $50. I will keep these sheets but won't be buying these again!!!

Thick, Crisp, Cool Sheets, like Grandma's!

If you long for quality sheets like your grandmother used to have, this is as close as I've found. For the price, they are excellent. They stay on well, as they have the same kind of elastic band as your husband's underwear, lol! Google AI told me the sheets of old days had a near 50/50 blend of polyester and cotton, it was right, this is it. They washed up well and softer after 1st wash. For 40 bucks, you cannot go wrong with this set.

Considering I've only just washed them, I'm amazed at how disappointed I am with these sheets. They're thin, almost 1/2 polyester, and the color isn't actually a full part of the sheets. The 'silver' is only on the 'top' of the sheets, not actually a dye on the threads themselves. I have 1000tc, an 800 tc sheets that feel nicer than these. Bed Bath etc should have a better search system to parse out 'blend' sheets from a search of 'cotton' of any sort. I suppose I have to blame myself for not looking harder at the description, and seeing only the high rating. Which, after seeing the actual sheets, I can only surmise 1 of 2 possibilities: most of the 'reviews' are from bots; or the people who gave such good reviews have been using discarded rags heretofore. That last might be a bit hyperbolic, but doesn't seem to be straying too far from the mark

Smelled Bad and Not Soft

These are the worst sheets. When they arrived, they had a really bad smell like feces. I can't explain it. I should have just returned them but I was too lazy so I threw them in the wash. They still smelled after I washed them so I was bound and determined so I washed them again. They came out smelling okay after the second wash. Then I put them on our bed and they are not soft. They are scratchy and not the kind of linens I am accustomed to. I have purchased all of my sheets in the past from BB&B but these sheets are making me rethink my future purchases.

So soft. Color as shown.

The king and queen size sheet sets were delivered early. The material is extremely soft and the colors are as shown on the online site. They fit my bed mattresses very well. Great! The only negative thing that I found was when the sheet sets were delivered, they smelled extremely bad…Like a manure cow pasture. I had to spray disinfectant and air them outside for a few days because I didn’t want to put them directly in my clothes washer. They smell alright now but the smell was extremely nauseating when they were first delivered. Whew! I’m glad that I purchased the sheets though. They are good.

Great price on great sheets

We are a bit of a"sheet snobs", and love this set of sheets. We like sheets that are soft but still have that crisp snap to them. That usually means percale sheets. These sheets' fabric is thicker than most sheets and have an obvious difference front to back. On the fitted sheet the elastic along edges and corners are 1/2 inch rather than normal 1/8 inch, which allows them to grip and stay better.

Soft smooth luxurious sheet set

My son loves this sheet set

My son is a very restless sleeper who moves around so much his sheet usually unfastens in one corner. He also complains of getting too hot. Lo and behold, after using this set for a while, amazingly all corners stay put and he says the sheet surface remains cooler than others previously tried. They are a nice thread count and the gray color gives off a faint lavender sheen. The feel is satiny and I like the fact they clean easily. Moisture wicking and quick

Good quality

This is a good quality sheet set. The fitted sheet has a thick elastic band to hold the sheet firmly onto the mattress. I also like the fact that there is a tag that indicates which is the top or bottom of the fitted sheet for ease of putting on the bed. The sheets wash and dry well and come out of the dryer fairly wrinkle free; I fold them right when the dryer finishes and the sheets are still warm. There are some wrinkles, but not enough to bother me. Of note, the queen size sheet set comes with standard size pillowcases. Overall, I am satisfied with this product.

Medium weight sheets

These sheets are great! They are a mid thickness so they are perfect for the fall. They are not super thin and slippery and are not the full thickness of flannel. They are warm but don't make me hot at night. The fitted sheet also has pretty deep pockets with rushed elastic to keep the corners tucked in. Washing and drying did not change the color or shrink them. They do get super wrinkly though if that's something that bothers you.
