So Pretty! Light Than It Appears On The Website

We owned this rug (purchased from Overstock many years ago) but left it behind when we moved recently because the new owners liked it so much. As soon as we were settled in our new home, I ordered the Carnegie Portia from the dining room. It's so pretty -- a very light cream -- but it just won't behave and lie down like it should! It's not just the corners that won't flatten. The entire rug curls upward along the edges. It appears that the binding is too tight, which is disappointing. But I love the rug so much, I would buy it again. In fact, I bought the Portia in a 2X10 for a nearby hallway, and that one is absolutely flat.

Rug looks like the pictures. Due to the material it’s made from, it’s so soft on the feet. Easy to spot clean (with folex) and easy to vacuum too.

Very beautiful rug; however ended up too light for my room. Otherwise would have kept it. Well made. Was glad I joined club O. It made returning much easier, and cheaper

Safavieh Carnegie Portia Distressed Area Rug Ivary

Love the color and quality of this rug. I am a little disappointed, though. The rug has a small black dot on it. It looks like a black marker or black ink blot. The rug is 9 x 12 so I will not be sending it back!

Beautiful, Classic Rug

This was a light, silvery color with a slight cream and beige pattern which really lifted the small room I had it in. Despite the light color it was extremely resistant to my guests' coffee spill and footprints. The rug is very thin so would benefit from padding, but no complaints here; it is extremely soft

Goes with any decor

I am so please with this rug. It looks great in our master bedroom. It lies flat at the corners. I've had no problem with it curling up. The combination of cool and warm tones allows it to go with any color palette.

Beautiful carpet I am very happy with this purchase. I ordered the 10x13 size for my living room. It is more beige as a base color and has light to medium gray tones. Pretty soft as well and did not need a carpet pad underneath. Did need to put something on the edges for a few days to flatten the curls from the edges of the carpet.

Great quality

Great quality! Very soft and overall the design matches the photos. I would say the colors are a bit different than some of the photos due to lighting. Some photos look more beige but it does have light grey for the accents which gives it an overall cool color tone as opposed to a warm tone. I did notice a huge footprint on the bottom of the rug as I unrolled it which was a bit annoying to clean off but there wasn't any issues with the actual rug, just on the underneath.

Soft but darker than it appears online

I got the runner in grey. It's pretty and soft, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's a lot darker than it appears in the photos online. I was looking for something on the lighter side. For *** I don't think it's worth returning as it is nice, just darker than I wanted.

The packaging was terrible. There were several dirt stains and some blue marks that came from the plastic lettering which said SAFAVIEH . The rugs were rolled so that the nap was to the outside and tape had been placed around in two places. The tape marks may take weeks to come off if ever. This could have all been avoided if the rugs were properly wrapped in brown paper before the tape and plastic tubes.

Perfect blend of light gray and cream

Very very happy with this carpet. The colors were a creamy white with a pale light gray subtle pattern. It had no odor and was laying flat after a few hours. It was true to the 9x12 size I ordered. Great value Highly recommend it.

I was so excited to get this rug because it appeared to have a nice, soft, subtle pattern in warm grey and cream tones.. it arrived and it is very silver. It is not like the photo at all. It is super soft, that is the only redeeming quality. I will be returning because it just does not go with my decor!

This is a beautiful rug and while pile is low- it is woven so tightly it feels very plush and sturdy- unlike other area rugs of same size I have bought. It is a very cream rug with a grey print BUT DOES HAVE BEIGE LIGHTLY INTERSPERSED. This was important to me and hard to see in photos. I am now a Safavieh Hard Core Fan. I agonized over which rug because online photos can be so misleading. The customer photos help a lot but I learned and feel its a HELPFUL TIP- LOOK AT PHOTOS WITH ENTIRE RUG AS A WAY TO GAUGE- The close ups or corner of rug shots really threw me off.

Great rug for the price

Overall, we are happy with this rug and it looks great in our space! It really is beautiful - we get compliments on it whenever we have guests over. I couldn't give it 5 stars because of the quality, which I guess can be expected based on the cost. It looks a bit dirty at times because of what the pile is made out of (the cream almost turns gray depending on which way it's vacuumed) and it's not great with pets. Our dogs like to play with their toys on it and there are already "track marks" from where their nails slide across, and we've only had for a couple months.
