They are to be picked up today as directed. I put them outside my door credit all monies back to the original state and refund my integrity. It was a no-show three times to put them together. The mattress never got here. They took it off already. Thank you Bernie Lea Sams….

Great bed for the price-love the storage drawers!

I must say, I was a little skeptical, ordering a bed that had to be assembled.

Several broken and missing pieces

Ordered two of these beds for our twin children. Boxes arrived a little beat up. Each bed had one or more major defect that either made me question its structural integrity (in addition to looking bad) or be unable to complete assembly. Also several cracks in paint and some holes not drilled deep enough. Customer service says it’s available 24/7, but we’ve called and emailed several times and haven’t gotten a response. I would not recommend purchasing this or other products from this company.

Easy assembly

Everything was very well packaged with no damage to any of the pieces. Let me start by saying I am 78 years old and put this together by myself. It took me awhile to do so but I found the directions very easy to follow. The only difficulty I had was when I put the headboard together, the legs are not marked as to which side of the headboard they go on. When I went to attach the side boards to the headboard the hooks would not drop into place. i had to remove the legs and reattach them to the opposite side. Beautiful bed and very sturdy.

the bed came with a few cracks in the wood but I guess its normal wear and tear in shipping. It stills seems pretty solid and looks beautiful. It was actually pretty easy to put together and I did most of it on my own. Not sure how it will stand up over time but so far so good.

Happy purchase

The bed is solid wood. Slats are closer together than most beds. Easily screwed together with tools provided. Not hard to figure out how to place together. Recommend two people to get it done easily but one person can mange. Love the color and looks expensive. We ordered the two drawers and fit easily under the bed much more storage than I expected! Extremely pleased. Also came in two days of ordering.

Really nice looking and solid. No squeaks or creaks when moving around on the bed, and the frame stays put. The only drawback is that the drawers are on wheels vs. a track. Because our bed is sitting on a thick area rug, it makes opening and closing a bit tricky, requiring a bit of force. Also, since the drawers are on wheels, one needs to close the drawers, pushing straight back with care, so as to prevent both drawers from banging into one another. As a result, our young son is unable to open and close the drawers himself. This isn't a huge issue for us, but the reason for deducting a star. We made sure we purchased a mattress thick enough to cover the gap between the bed slats and the bottom of the headboard. This way, the pillow wouldn't get lodged between the mattress and headboard and small objects wouldn't fall behind the bed.

Surprisingly good quality

I received this bed today. It came in 4 separate boxes. I purchased it as a bed for my son, but since he won't need it for a few months we have not put it together. So I can not comment on the construction process. But I will praise how nice the wood looks. I was worried it would look cheap or the color may be off. I was pleasantly surprised. The walnut finish was a nice deeper shade of walnut. It was extremely smooth with the perfect amount of sheen. The wood is not thin or flimsy. It feels sturdy. I would compare it to the quality of real wood furniture you would pay for at a large chain like Ashley or American Signature (where all our other real wood furniture is from). I would definately recommend purchasing this bed if you are looking for a quality piece of furniture at a decent price.
