We needed a new beside lamp for our guest room. This fit the bill and, with a bright LED bulb, provides sufficient light for reading.

Oh , this is by far the most beautiful lamp I have ever bought. I found this by accident online too. I highly recommend this lamp. I would buy a second one for my other room, it is that nice.
The lamp looks nice and the faux marble part is beautiful. However, the shade just can't go on properly. Doesn't matter how I adjust it. It's always tilted to one side which really really bugs me. It's just not straight and I can't get it to stand up straight.... Otherwise I would give it a 5 star.
