These are very nice looking and sturdy chairs. assembly time was about 3. hours. I purchased two of these chairs and they look quite nice and are comfortable.

Good quality counter-height stool with hard seat

The directions aren't the clearest. I missed the fact that two different lengths of screws are needed to fasten the back to the seat. The first stool we put together will have to be touched up with wood filler where the screws went all the way through. These are nice quality, heavy-duty stools that should last. Unfortunately, I found the seat to be too hard and, so far, I am still using my old one. My husband is quite happy with them. Maybe I can convince him to "break in" one for me.

Sturdy bar stool.

This Powell X-back bar stool is strong and sturdy. It is listed as Big & Tall and that fits the bill for it. Nice, high back and good room on the seat. Wood seems high quality and joints and screw wells seem well done. Glad the seat swivels. And assembly was easy. This bar stool seems like it will last my lifetime.

This is such a pretty bar stool. The wood grain looks so nice and the seat cushion is very roomy and comfortable. My teenage grandson assembled it for me and said it was quick and easy to put together. The stool swivels and seems very strong. It says it is tested to 400 lb. weight limit and that seems accurate based on my family being big and tall. I am so happy with this bar stool.

Great quality stool!

It is every bit as big and tall as it claims to be. I love the size of this stool, it’s one anyone can sit in comfortably! It was easy to assemble and it is very sturdy and good quality. It swivels with ease and has a leather seat, so easy cleaning. Love it!

Great Powell - Big & Tall Brown X-Back Bar Stool

This Powell - Big & Tall Brown X-Back Bar Stool looks very good and is very well built. It is sturdy and built with high quality materials and put together very well. I like how it looks in my kitchen as the color of the wood, leather stool and back accents look together. It took only a few minutes to fully assemble the chair and it again looks great.

Great Bar Stool!

This “Powell - Big & Tall Brown X-Back Bar Stool” is absolutely wonderful! Assembling the bar stool was very easy and it’s very comfortable as well! It matches my home flawlessly and everyone loves it! I highly recommend to all!

I ordered 4 of these. The first one I opened was broke, which could have happened with shipping. I opened the others and they were fine. I called customer service and they said I would have to ship it back before the replacement would be shipped out. I’m not happy about that. It’s not my fault it was broke. The wood is really soft so every time it hits the bar it puts a dent in it. So overall the experience with ordering wasn’t great and the quality of the bar stools aren’t either.

They look very nice which is why I gave it only 3 stars however, I found the back of the chair leans back too much so you can only sit straight with no back support otherwise if you lean back then you end up sliding off the seat.

Great for bigger/taller individuals. My teenager put these together himself over an afternoon. Some of the screws that are hard to reach once fully assembled have loosened greatly over time but not sure if that was operator error.

The stool is the perfect height. It arrived in a box and was well protected. The allen wrench and all necessary parts were included with easy to follow instructions. Assembly was simple. It took me 30 minutes to assemble 2 stools. I highly recommend this stool.

Sturdy, comfortable, lovely and a great value! The stools arrived far ahead of schedule and were packaged very well to avoid any damage in shipping. The assembly instructions are excellent. I did, however, have to open up some of the predrilled holes in order to iinsert some of the screws....that wasn't a big deal. My whole family loves them.

I was looking for a bar stool with a larger seat, but this one was absolutely HUMONGOUS!!! I have never seen such a large stool. Would be perfect for a very large person. I returned them and bought others.
