Arrived damaged

The bed itself is amazing. It is super sturdy and exactly what I was looking for. It was bought for 2 boys who are 12 and 13 .It doesn't squeak which is a huge plus. The ladder is a little rough on the feet but it's metal so that isn't surprising. Unfortunately like many others, it arrived damaged. My boys had been without beds for a month so I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it

FYI - Box is about the size of a Q sized mattress

I would rather give a 4.5 star rating, but that's not an option. The only reason I wouldn't go a full 5 stars is because of the size of the box it comes in. The dimensions aren't listed anywhere, and to save myself the over $60 in shipping costs, I had it delivered to the store so I could pick it up. Unfortunately, I don't have a vehicle large enough, and had to have my brother pick it up for me.The assembly was easy enough to do. My son and daughter (ages 25 and 16) helped me with it, and we were able to handle it without issue. We brought in the pieces individually, rather than haul the 125 pound, bulky box in the house and up the stairs, but other than that it was fine. All the pieces were there, nothing was damaged, and it seems very sturdy. I wanted something that was tested at a higher weight because it's going to be for adult-sized people, not little kids, and I am happy with the purchase. It does move a little, but it doesn't shake all over the place, when climbing up and down the ladder.The ladder steps are very narrow, which is somewhat painful. I tried putting a pool noodle on the steps but that made my daughter very uncomfortable, because the noodle wants to slide around. The kids' idea to solve the problem is to use slippers.The headboard and foot board on both the top and bottom bunks are also a selling point for us; my son didn't want his pillows falling off the bed.Overall, we are quite satisfied with this bed. Less

To my surprise, VERY STURDY! My older teenage guys love it! It is not only sturdy but beautiful!

the quality of the bed is good but, some parts came bare, and scraches I do not change it because it is much more work to return it. They should return part of what I pay.

Sturdy

This bunk bed is very sturdy!! I have two full grown teen-aged boys and this bed works for them. There is very little movement to the bed when they move and it is able to endure their rough housing.

Metal full over full bunk beds

Shipping took longer than I expected, over a week and a half. I love the look of the bed, my low rating came from the condition it was in when it arrived. The box is huge, and it had came apart at some point & been taped back together, exposing the bed itself. There were scrape marks all over it and one big dent in the top that can't be covered...after paying almost $50 for freight shipping I was highly disappointed. But returning wasn't an option as the box is too large. As far as sturdiness, its great. Not a lot of head room on bottom bunk but we also have a 8" mattress on it.

Sturdy bed

This is a very solid sturdy bed. Other metal bunk beds are nothing in comparison with its durability. Very happy with this purchase.

Got what I paid for!

Perfect at first but had it for a little over a year and the bed rails are separating from the bed. It can not be fixed. Thought metal would be more durable but I got what I paid for.

Great bunk

I bought these for my grand boys ages 3 and 6 and they love them. The beds were very easy to put together and are quite sturdy so far. The only thing I would add are some type of padding for the stairs for the top bunk. The rungs are really hard on the feet.

Great bed!

I bought this bed in black. It looks great and save space. Right now on the top bunk bed sleep 2 teenager who weight almost 400 pounds between the two of them. They love the bed! The bottom one holds more than the top one.

Nice bed for rollback price

Assembly was simple but timely. Screwing in the lock bolt is done with an allen wreck supplied. We replaced a solid wood bunk bedset. The kids get more vibrations & shaking than did their old set. It is a sturdy and looks great.

Great Bed - Heavy Duty Design/Construction

This is a great bed! I have two high school girls that love this bed. The heaviest girl (150 lbs) sleeps on the top and feels very secure with the design/construction of this bed. It's a very solid bed that supports each mattress well. I highly recommend this item. You can't beat Walmart's price and free in store pickup, which I did with a Tundra. Be warned that it is a very large item, but not all that heavy relative to the size. The bed frame is welded solid and has a sleek design that is pleasant to look at.....doesn't look cheap at all. Highly recommended!!
