I was getting a new stove so I wanted a new backsplash that complimented the stove and this was perfect. Everyone has complimented me on how good it looks.

Easy good looking

Overall this product is great. I followed the instructions to wet the back before applying. I don't think it helped. The sticky goes away if you put too much water. I did the rest with out and they stick very easy so becareful once they are on they won't come off. The trim piece of the edge must be cut with hacksaw a tin snip will not cut if needed.

Looks good

Installed this recently. Size with the side trim is 30” x 30”, for a flat top stove but I ran it behind a push in. Easy to install, I cleaned the wall of any grease/debris and followed the instructions utilizing a soapy water sprayer. It feels solid and is smooth, really a nice finish.

Make sure the surface is very clean and no debris.

Made the job easy and yet professional looking in the finished task.

Nice product. My only criticism would be that the video showed removing film after applying all the strips when in fact it should be removed along the way otherwise the film can get stuck between the strip you’ve applied and the next strip you apply, leaving a bit of a gap that you cannot fix.

Restocking fee

The product was slightly larger than advertized so would not work in my space. Lowes 'decided' to charge me a 20% restock fee stating this was a special order item. THERE IS NO WAY TO IDENTIFY IF AN ITEM IS SPECIAL ORDER. Lowes - you dropped the ball on this and I should not have to pay for your miscommunication.

Ditch the soapy water spray

Using the soapy water spray, it didn’t stick on the wall at all for me. As a back up, I had bought two 2.5 fl. oz. tubes of Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive with a 30 second hold time, which was just enough for the job and worked great.
