Definitely shocked to see this bench, that I had been so excited about, arrive with white MOLD all over it! I wiped down the board with a vinegar solution to get rid of the surface mold but I don't know how deep the mold had penetrated and if it will show up again. When I got all the mold off the surface, I noticed a deep scratch across the top of the bench. And, in addition, it is a LOT darker brown than the product image shows in the online store. I had purchased this believing it would match my beautiful walnut console table with chrome legs but the only thing abut this bench that matches is its chrome legs. I am quite saddened by this.
