Overall it is a decent playhouse, a bit light weight though. We had some high winds blow it over a couple of times. I would recommend putting it in a sheltered area when not in use. At least the times it was knocked over it stayed together. The door and the bar across the other door can have issues staying on if your kid is a bit rough with it. Otherwise the hardest part to put together was the roof, just a little finicky. It was fairly easy to put together solo, a second person would just help speed up allignment of the pieces.

Another great LT product

My 2.5 year old granddaughter LOVES her little cottage playhouse! It's definitely a good quality product, but the door design is a little odd. There are identical door openings on opposite sides, but you only get a half door for one and a basic sill for the other. Why not 2 half doors? It looks weird and is a design flaw, IMO. She doesn't care, though. She loves it! It has enough room inside for her kid size chair, a small plant stand table, and a spot for her dolls bed, too. Good headroom as well. Our small dogs have enjoyed laying inside it, too! It's pretty easy to assemble by one person and is of good quality. I'm glad Little Tikes is still making the same kind of great toys like her parents had 30 years ago.

Yes its, lightweight and one person can assemble it alone, but it is still a quality product at this price. My kid LOVES it. Easy to put together, sturdy... the hardest part was putting on the stickers but hey no biggie! I used velcro to install two battery operated push lights inside above the windows because its a little dark in the house if you have it indoors. Works like a charm and easy for kids to turn on themselves. I see many tea parties in my future and doc mcstuffin check ups. oh and this doesnt come with the flag in the picture, just FYI. We use the pole holder as a hook for a doctor's jacket.

2year old loves it

This was very easy to assemble. Instructions are straightforward and not complicated. Book said 20mins but it took me 40mins by myself to complete it. My 2 year old fell in love. It is a lot thinner and more lightweight than I thought though. I thought it would be more thick like outdoor playground equipment but it’s not. I feel like it could break if you have a lot of kids playing in it rough housing. But I just have a toddler that would be using it and we have it indoors though so all is good. The door doesn’t really stay shut either and pops back open which seems to frustrate my child bc she repeatedly slams it back shut. All in all I’m still happy with my purchase and got it on sale for Black Friday so for the price I paid the value is worth it to me.

Disappointed in playhouse

I'm just glad I purchased this and got the black Friday deal and got half off. I purchased for my granddaughter as a Christmas present in 2022 and just put it together this summer. It is very flimsy the doors will only shut if you lift up in the door while shutting it. The inside looks like a house that had been built with no interior walls. I have an old Little Tykes house that been sitting in my yard from where my now adult kids used to play. And it is a sturdy well made product although its seen better days, I can actually pick it up and move it around my yard without worrying its going to collapse like this piece of crap they sale now. You can definitely tell their quality standards have diminished greatly over the years! No way would I pay $139 for this crap but for $70, I'll keep it until it falls apart which will likely be in the 12 months if I'm lucky. I just hoping my granddaughter gets at least two summers with it. Dont waste your money $139 on this junk. The Step One cottage looks like a much better product and it includes a floor, interior looking walls and some interactive activities included and its only about $60.00 more. That will be my next buy after this one falls apart, probably next year.
