Lodge Cast Iron casserole/baking dish

This is a solid cast iron casserole/baking dish and I can see why it would survive multiple generations due to its strength. I have just begun using cast iron in the kitchen and I am aware of how much healthier it is for our health. It is heavy to lift out of the oven. I have used it twice so far and it’s worked well.

Great pan pizza pan

Oh I love this pan. It's perfect for a Detroit style pan pizza. Comes out crispy and perfect and slides right out of the pan. Didn't have that in mind when I bought it but that's now its main function!

FANTASTIC FOR BREAD

I baked bread with this and loved it! I did use parchment paper, however. The size really make it worth the money.

This piece of cookware is built like a tank! It is excellent for cooking in the oven and outside on the grill! Will buy more and send them to my buddies as gifts!

Purchased for making deep dish pizzas in gas pizza oven. Worked like a charm! Love Lodge products for cooking outdoors on my lanai!

Used this dish several times for lasagna and roasted vegetables. Excellent results.

I LOOOOVVEEE Cast Iron!

I purchased this to make Detroit-style pizza, and it does so beautifully! I own various types of cast iron pans and dutch ovens. This piece added to the cast iron family. I would highly recommend.

I love it first thing I smoked in it was your tamale cornbread pie my family loved it so much I had to make another the next day. Outstanding

First one came damaged but Target sent a replacement and it looks good

So I bought this first on Amazon but it had a chip on the edge. I contacted Lodge and they said not our problem and talk to Amazon about it. I ended up returning the one on Amazon. Since the one on Amazon had a chip I bought it from Target. The first one from Target had the same issues so I called Target about it. They sent a replacment and the replacment is much better. Like any cast iron it is easy to use, clean and has good value but I feel Lodge needs to work on it's quality control.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She used it the same day. This casserole made perfect sense since we use cast iron on the stove for everyday.

Easy to clean

Made a prime rib roast, and it came out perfectly. Clean was easy. Nothing was stuck onto the pan after.

The casserole pan was just what I wanted. I wanted a deep pan I can fry breakfast meat in among other things. I like that it is deep so I would not have to worry about grease splattering.

on top of the stove or in the oven

on top of the stove bacon and eggs for breakfast Hot Dogs for lunch and in the oven cornbread for dinner to eat with my soup. this is a good quality item.

Awesome item

Great on the grill or for higher temperature cooking when you don’t want to risk breaking a glass dish. It can also function well as a griddle.

Targget had it!

It’s just what I was looking for. I’ve wanted one for some time and when I was ready to buy I was surprised Target carried it! It was so easy to order online as stock seemed low, then pick it up later when it was convenient!

Disappointed

My five Lodge pans came in one box with just some paper on top, not each pan divided with it. The box was destroyed making it very hard to pick up and carry in…..two pans are stuck together from the force of being dropped and two pans have rust spots on them. These were for Christmas gifts. Each pan should have been separately packaged whereas if they were wrapped right would have been in better condition. I’ll use Amazon who is selling them for same price and my boxes never are damaged and have great wrapping of products…..

When they say it's pre-seasond, they mean it. I use this weekly and has yet to disappoint, or been difficult to clean. One of my favorite purchases.

You can never go wrong in cast-iron

Anyone can open the box and eggs and oil and water and bake a cake but that cake taste generic. Now you take that same cake mix and ingredients flip them up put them into a cast-iron cake pan and you just went from 3LAU to oh my God foot restaurant did you buy this cake from, I only use large logic cast-iron and yes it once used to be called lodge logic you’ll have to excuse me. I have to go and pull a pie out of the oven that I just baked in the large pie pan. That review will be on Amazon. I highly recommend you get this casserole/cake pan/cinnamon roll pan. You won’t regret it, yes washing and soap and water dry it thoroughly and always remember to use nonstick food spray. I use the olive oil spray and the butter spray not at the same time depending on what I’m cooking definitely you should click the button button run to your nearest Walmart and get this Bhad Bhabie you won’t regret it.
