Beautifully made sturdy and retains heat very well. Was kind of expecting it to have raised grill ridges but it’s a flat square grill pain. Still amazing quality

PFAS FREE replacement for old non-stick better than expected. Works great for burgers and grilled sandwiches. Used with the 11 inch burger press (a perfect fit) can make all the burgers in the American Burgers cookbook (featured on Seth Meyers). It makes 70/30 ground beef a useful bargain in combination with your favorite spatula. Can’t wait to try it on chops or rib eye!

Great for Smash Burgers

Love it. Holds the heat very well, and is the perfect size for 4 smash burger patties. I suspect this griddle will be a mainstay on my stove.

With handwashing and a minimum of care, this pre-seasoned griddle will make eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausages, grilled cheese sandwiches and other delicious meals for many decades to come. It takes a while for this griddle to heat up but once it has, it retains that heat well, allowing a lower stovetop setting that requires less energy to maintain. You must use a potholder or slip-on silicone handle or leather grip to grab its handle once heated. This Lodge cast iron cookware is oven, bbq grill and campfire safe and can even be used underneath a broiler as well. Clean it up afterwards using only a mild soap and hot water with a stiff bristle brush if necessary. Then, dry it immediately and apply a thin film of cooking oil onto the cooking surface to prevent rust and preserve its seasoning.

Good skillet but it isn't seasoned as stated.

The size is good and hopefully it doesn't warp on the bottom like so many of the aluminum ones do. Also, the skillet is not seasoned as labeled so you'll have to do that yourself.

A Very Nice Addition

when I moved have my kids all my moms pans because new home had a flat cook top, got my new gas stove so needed a black cast iron it is perfect it is pre-seasoned a big plus it is easier keeping the pre-season on this pan a great price and value. I am even thinking about getting another.

Love this piece so far

Have used this twice so far. Once for pancakes and once for home made flour tortillas. Worked perfectly for both and was easy for cleanup. So far...I love it!

Always buy cast iron

I replaced an old arm pan that I had that was aluminum. Cast-iron makes your food taste so much better and the pain will last a lifetime.

patience. trial. error. lots of butter oil wasted

patience trial and error. switching to cast iron take some work. i feel like i am consuming and wasting so much oil and butter. def not a good idea to throw out the non stick right when you get this.

I love this griddle,cast iron is the way to go. Lodge makes great skillets n griddles. It dont take long to get a really smooth surface . They are kinda heavy tho.

Made is USA cast iron, can fit four on my stovetop. Great for camping, yes the handle can get hot, it's cast iron. I only bought two this time, kind of wish I would have bought more, they're on sale.
