Steel Single Swing Driveway Gate - LONDON Style - 12 x 6 Feet

I’m very pleased with my gate. I didn’t know it came in 2 pieces, after getting it put together any questions on how it would look and function were all answered. Glad to get rid of my wood gate. can’t say enough

Well-made and looks fantastic

I especially like that the paint seems really durable - no scratches so far, even though my kids love to swing on it (of course!). Installing it myself was a bit of a challenge, but I managed. If you're not handy, I'd recommend hiring someone to put it in.

Aleko 16' single gate. Gate arrived in a timely manner. Very well crated. This is a very nice gate and well made. That being said, dug 30" hole 36" deep for main post. Poured 1/2 yard+ of concrete. Let post set for 4 days. Installed gate. The post sent is "TOTALLY" inadequate for the weight and size of this gate due to the thin thickness of the steel, way to much flexing in post Ended up putting (2) pieces of 3/4" 8' rebar down the middle of the post and filling post with High Tensile concrete. Post now executable to finish install. "VERY" unhappy with said post, also torque bolts sent to put halves together are also indicate, replaced them with regular bolts and nylock nuts.

Very nice gate, seems well built. Not hard to install if you know what you're doing. I did reinforce the concrete with 6 pieces of 4ft long rear driven into the ground for longevity support. But I don't feel that is required

Completely disappointed in this gate the post that are sold with it are not strong enough to withhold the weight of the gate the brackets and the screws don’t match up . What a total waste! We have no idea what we are going to do now and we arr out $2000. DO NOT BUY

I am overall very happy with the product and shipping. I was surprised that the gate came in two pieces that had to be bolted together to make it one 12' piece. Nowhere in the description could I find where it said that, so when I received it I first thought I was getting the wrong product. But once assembled, which is simple, it is a nice solid gate. I like the quality of the posts supplied as well. Would definitely recommend this gate, especially for the price.

Nice looking gate

The gate does come in two pieces. Technically you can use it as two pieces, as the kit comes with 4 hinges, 2 for each side. But it seems the expectation is that you'll put the two pieces together to form 1 long piece as shown. The two pieces attach in the middle with a number of bolts and plates. I guess up close you could notice it if you were paying attention to it. If you do want to make it two pieces, you'll need to drill holes in one of the gate pieces in order to attach to the hinges. Comes with 2 4x4 metal posts. Instructions were spot on for the one-piece gate; you'd need to modify a little if using as 2-piece gate. Does not come with a latch. You must purchase that separately. Shipping and pick up with Home Depot was no problem, and I have extra DIY wood from shipping.

May want to search other brands. While the gate is beautiful, upon inspection AFTER INSTALLING, I noticed LOTS of large rust bubbles under the paint on one of the poles. Only one way that happens..it wasn't prepped correctly. Will cost $200 to be stripped down and re-powder coated plus its concreted in.the ground.

Reliable quality for price

When researching buying a driveway gate— I didn’t think I would find something online— but when I saw these at Home Depot for the price, I was honestly surprised. It seemed too good to be true. But I trust Home Depot’s return policy enough to give it a go and I am glad I did! The quality is awesome and installation was pretty simple. My gate looks awesome and functions flawlessly. I definitely recommend!
