No Assembly

This is the 2nd time I order these nightstands. No assembly (just screw the legs at the bottom - 4 min). I love the 30 inch width (which is practical and help make a statement in a bedroom). The drawers slide smoothly and the drawer handles were protected (on the inside of the drawers). I personally love Safavieh products - lots of consideration in the design and they are always priced very reasonably. Arrived quickly, well packaged and no damage. Highly recommend.

I appreciate the quality of the nightstand given that the price is so good. It comes with very little assembly needed and arrived in good condition. It is nice and wide for a lamp and all the bedside essentials.

Could have been a really nice product

I bought 4 of these for my two bedrooms. The other reviewers said the allen wrench was not long enough. Looks like they corrected that issue because mine were. The problem I had was one nightstand had bearings that had fallen out of the inside drawer slider, and the slider was completely broken into two parts. The second unit had the same exact issue but the trim piece between the drawers was heavily damaged with a big dent. The third unit had some weird sticky discoloration on one drawer. For the amount they charge on these, the quality really needs to be much better. Maybe if I paid a * dollars but close to * each? All of them had minor scratches and scuffs around the edges. I didn't mind since that can be fixed easily but drawers that dont work and dents, thats just someone not caring. It would be so much cheaper if you made a good product, there would be so many less returns. I dont understand what these people are thinking. Such a waste. Outside of the above, the nightstands are heavy and come double boxed and nicely packaged. Shipping them back is going to be a serious pain.

Excellent color and quality for a beach house

We ordered this nightstand for a guest room/ grandchild room and it is exactly what we wanted. The quality and color are great and assemble was very easy.

PERFECT: Love these chests!!!

Ordered two (2) chests to serve as nightstands. I was familiar with the Lorna fit and finish because I already have the 6-drawer buffet. I absolutely Love these chests! Works perfectly with a king-sized bed. Nice contemporary style; nice navy color and finish; and updated glossy brass hardware pulls and leg feet (nice touch). Drawers are lined and open fully. All the way with Safavieh!!!!

Couldn't screw in legs.

We love how these look. However we had some issues putting them together. We tried to screw the legs in but out of the eight legs, five of them would not receive the screws. They didn't have the correct threading. I had to take out these sections, bring them to the hardware store and have them re-threaded. At that point we were able to screw in the legs. This felt like very shoddy workmanship, that no one had checked to make sure the screws would go in all the way! But after this was fixed, The dressers are great.

Contemporary Dressers

Bought two. One on each side of bed for guests to use as dresser. Velvet liner had horrible toxic smell. We left drawers open for weeks which only open partway and are not removable. It would have been nice to have the sun burn off odor but too heavy to move outside. Used Ozium, Odaban and essential oils with no success. Finally removed velvet liner with a putty knife. Odor less but you can still smell it. Had to line drawers once velvet removed. No way I'll ever let guests put anything in them!! Love the clean contemporary look but nonfunctional!! So disappointed!!!

Such a great piece! The item came almost fully built, all I had to do was add the legs. The nightstand is made of real wood and the drawers are lined in velvet. The height of the nightstand is almost the same as a small dresser which is perfect for those that have beds that are higher from the floor. The gold hardware is a bright, polished gold. I've gotten lots of compliments on it. The only complaint I have is the inside of the drawers have a strong smell. The smell does not transfer to clothes but is still pungent when you first open a drawer. Overall, a good purchase.

Gold Accents make the piece beautiful

The gold handles and dipped feet on this piece make the whole thing super attractive. The packaging was solid. I suggested 4 stars because the drawers can be a little stiff and the laminate exterior chips at the edges easier than I hoped. But for the price these made spacious nightstands.

Buyer beware!!!

Very cute dresser but please keep these in mind if you're gonna order it: 1. Has a strange smell. IDK how to describe it. 2. The drawers only open about 60% of the way- the other 40%, you have to reach in with your hand. Annoying that it doesn't open all the way. 3. THE HINGE ON THE MIDDLE DRAWER BROKE ON ME!!! I didn't even have it for more than 2 minutes before it broke! NOW IT LOOKS WOBBLY! Absolutely Irritating!!!!! Update: After 10 minutes of fiddling around, I managed to relocate the little screws on the hinge a few millimeters lower than the pre-fixed holes and "fix" the drawer. No 4 and No 5 noted below still apply! 4. Makes a squeaking when you open the drawer. I guess no late night snacking if you're with a light sleeper? 5. Does not open smooth at all - It opens kind of wobbly and you have to have a little bit of force to open it. A few pros: 1. Very cute looking - love the gold handles and the white color is very chic. 2. Came already pre-assembled - took less than 10 minutes to take it out of the box, assemble and move the drawer to its proper place. (An additional 10 minutes to fix the issue I had, see number 3 in the "cons" section). 3. Wide enough - just what I was (personally) looking for.

Safavieh Lorna White 3 drawer dresser

Giving this a 3, because one nightstand came with a black mark right on the front above the first drawer that was very obvious. I wouldn't have accepted from a local store. I used a white paint pen and it's less noticeable. The other nightstand, the bottom drawer doesn't line up and it's very noticeable in person. I contacted Overstock yesterday, so we will see if they repair or replace. They are well priced on sale, so that's a plus. I did not get white glove delivery, as reviews said assembly just was putting the legs on. What they don't tell you is these are 61.6 pounds a piece and there is no lip to grab to carry. I was putting these in an upstairs bedroom, so there was no way I could carry them up. Even though these are MDF, what you don't see is there is a faux wood grain that goes grey a bit. I would have preferred a solid white finish and that is what I thought I was buying. they are a good medium size nightstand though and not too tall for a platform bed. I still need bedding an accessories in this guest room, but I like the way they look. I love Safavieh rugs, so I thought I was safe ordering their furniture. I'm a little underwhelmed. Overstock mentions a new drawer, but the drawer is the right size. It's pushed all the way to the edge and doesn't line up on either side of the drawer, like the pictures online and the other nightstand. this really shouldn't have passed inspection. I feel like they will have to replace the nightstand.

Beautiful nightstand with velvet lined drawers

I love the look of these nightstands. I was surprised to see that they have a bit of a grain to them - they aren't solid white but they are really beautiful. The drawers are the self-stopping kind which is great. My only issue is I had to remove the drawers in order to move it upstairs and it was very difficult the get the drawers back in.

Great PURCHASE.!!

This is a great nightstand if you are looking for something simple and budget friendly. The quality is better than I expected. It is not high quality, expensive looking nightstand but you can easily make it look expensive with table lamp or any decor you have. Shipping was somewhat fast. It was delivered one day late but it came in perfect condition.

Simple Elegance

I've been looking for nightstands for the last two months. As soon as I saw these on the Overstock website, I fell instantly in love! They come basically put together. All I had to do was install the legs and switch the handles from inside to outside. Looks just like the picture. The drawers are lined in velvet. These nightstands add lovely flare to my bedroom.

Nice piece if it's not damaged

Beautiful nightstands, however I had to return one because it was damaged and someone did a poor job touching it up with a shade that didn't match. To make matters worse, the product was out of stock for so long, I couldn't even get a replacement. I had to hunt for it online at other retailers for months before I found another one.

So pretty and well made

This nightstand is substantial with only the drawer pulls and legs to attach. It looks beautiful next to my overstock bed with my overstock marble look lamp. I will probably add a glass or marble top to protect it, but this is a great buy. I bought two. One cane damaged and overstock took care of it immediately. My new second one should arrive today.
