This was a gorgeous piece, exactly what my entryway needed. The wood was good quality and I love the distressed paint. The assembly was very easy, only 4 screws!

This is a great product. It is lightweight and decorative but I just love it sooo much I bought another one. It is light weight and comes with wall strap mounts in case you have small children. Great idea!

Black paint is used to appear "antiqued".

I have a mixed opinion of this consule. It's very easy too assemble, its suprisingly sturdy, sits level in place & appears to be strong. It looks nice, like the picture, BUT only from a distance or passing by..... The consule tabletop appears to be unsealed & unsanded with a nice natural pine color. The tabletop is level but not sanded smooth. The sides & legs are painted chalky slightly off white. Black blotches of paint are used to "create" the " antiqued & distresed" look. Sadly, it looks like a child dabbed areas with a paint brush dipped in black paint. ( not sure if it's made in **** or not) Definetely NOT what I expected. I honestly was dissapointed. As previously mentioned the consule does look nice when looked at from a distance or passing it in the entryway. This is why I decided to keep it. My opinion of the consule is questionable .... I've had this for over a year now in my entryway. It's held up very well to frequent people passing by & laying thier keys & sunglasses ontop. Its also withstood several big cats jumping on/off the top to either nap or observe thier family! I would not purchase this again for the price I paid, although I ultimitely decided to keep it.

The console table looks like it was made from scrap material. I gave it away to someone who needed to curved legs for another project.

Still glad I purchased despite flaws

Okay, with this piece you are very much getting a 'look' and less 'quality'. Based on reviews and pictures, I anticipated this. I was bummed when it arrived broken and saw how delicate the front filigree part is. That being said, I was able to use some wood glue to fix what was broken and easily touch up with paint. Because of its size, I have been able to use it in various places and for various applications. It is sturdy and can handle a computer monitor, lamps, or be used as a writing surface. (It did survive a move across states and is light enough to use in an RV). It is a lightweight table with a cute look that has remained useful, despite initial issues and occasionally needing to tighten the support screws.

Cheaply made

Very cheap materials. It is not solid wood at all. It feels more like painted cardboard for the legs and design. Not classy like I hoped it would be.
