One of my favorite scents
Ambre is one of my top 5 favorite candles from Diptyque. It’s very woodsy with the perfect balance of amber. There is a slight sweetness and smoothness to this scent that reminds me of chocolate, but it isn’t chocolatey if that makes any sense. The throw is really good on this scent in any size candle from this brand. The performance on this particular scent has always been good no tunneling or uneven burning.
Like a leafy summery hug
What first attracted me to this candle was the beautiful green glass container. Then when taking a sniff of it, I absolutely fell in love with the scent as well. When I first lit it, I was a little disappointed at what seemed to be a lack of projection from this candle, especially compared to my others from Diptyque. However, I’ve just lit it again on a whim today and WOW! It’s throwing its beautiful scent to all four corners of a large room and beyond! Maybe it just needs a little ‘pre-burning’ to bring out its best? But I am loving basking in this leafy and aromatic scent right now.
