Too thin!

The shag is so thin you can see the backing. I was disappointed in the quality. I've bought several rugs from Overstock and have always been pleased. Not this time.

I adore this rug. It isn't as shaggy as I thought it would be but the way it looks under the light is amazing. I purchased it in linen and it is almost white but there is also a lovely shade of taupe as an under tone. I would recommend and buy again.

Soft under the feet!!

Nice rug. Bound. A bit more white than cream color but am still very satisfied. Comes folded so takes a while for the folds to work themselves out. Need to keep stretching out the rug, as expected. The quality is good and we plan to get a carpet pad to put under it. A carpet cleaning service recommended this to us to help prolong the life of the rug. I like this rug and want it to last a long time! Soft under the feet!!!

Unfortunately, I have to leave a one-star review, not because of the product which is actually quite lovely, but due to Overstock itself. It is an extreme pain to use this site. I am constantly emailed promotional discounts and when I click through to try to actually purchase something, the discount disappears in the cart. I spent an hour chatting with customer service only for them to send a personal discount code THAT STILL DID NOT WORK. I have a $50 credit and it's the only reason I'm even trying to shop on this site, and even that is impossible to do. I couldn't like Overstock any less and wish I didn't have to shop here at all.

Stylish with Weight

This is a beautiful, plush rug, featuring highs and lows, but not so extreme that you notice it when you step on it. Lovely shading with the browns, cream, and blue (which could be used in a gray room). I read that a pad should be used under it due to slippage, but I have mine on 24x24 tiles and it doesn't move. It's not heavy, but weighty compared to the thin rugs.

Safavieh Is The Best! I ordered this to replace a shag rug. The print on this rug is much more stylish and sophisticated than my previous runner. I always look to Safavieh whenever I am in need of an area rug or runner. Albeit there are less expensive area rugs but they don't measure up to the quality of a Safavieh rug.

Soft & Fluffy Area Rug

When we purchased our home last year, we bought a used rug from Craigslist for our living room. I knew I would want to replace it at some point. I am so happy we did. This is exactly as described and the neutral color matches anything. Soft and fluffy- my grandson will love playing on it. It is a bit thin so we do plan to add a piece of carpet padding underneath.

Binding edge glares at you.Thinner than expected.

We have the Milan shag by Safavieh. It is thick, lush and the binding does not show. This Arizona shag Eldora rug is not Thick or lush and the binding shows. This cheapens the lookThe color is "spot-on" for our den and flooring. We have a rug pad arriving today, hopefully it will give a softer, comfortable walking and seating on our floor. ( Pile height has nothing to do with thickness/depth of the rug.)This is our second purchase, we returned the first being that it was a horrible color and mammoth-like fur. Returns are easy but a 9'x12' rug has to be lugged to the shipping store. It would be great if Safavieh made all their rugs in the most popular colors, but in various thicknesses.

Great look for a great value

I first purchased a 5x7 patterned rug from you (shown in photo) that I Love, but after placing it, I realized I needed to cover more area, so I chose this rug in what I thought would be a dark taupe as a base for it. I'm very pleased with the overall effect, even though the color was much lighter than I had anticipated and it was impossible to get it to lie flat in two areas. I have come to terms with the color, and expect that it will lie flat in time. Otherwise, it's a perfect solution for my needs. If you purchase it to use alone it's not that plush, which is fine for my needs, but on its own, I'd recommend an ample rug pad underneath.

Bright and vibrant rug

The color is vibrant just a spec off of sunshine yellow with a slight tinge of orange/ peach. Not a cheap rug like some of the pictures correlate. Soft and not a lot of debris coming out of the rug. I would recommend that this rug be placed in an area where not many young children are present as the color is light and you could stain easily.

I purchase area rugs often and for many years. These Safavieh Shag rugs are a family favorite!! The colors are accurate and they are extremely thick and soft. I have three charcoal grey, a taupe, a beautiful dark purple,a brown and now a terra-cotta !!! Some have traveled with us as we've moved and some purchases for new home and/ or new decor! I have passed a couple down to my children as they've gotten new homes. Overstock has very quick delivery and excellent customer service. I have NEVER been disappointed with rugs I've purchased from them which is not true of other online companies. I highly recommend this shag rug in whatever color you need.

This is a great shag rug. This is the second one I purchased in this color because the new puppy took control of it and it was much easier to buy a new one than clean it. A very cost effective way to redecorate as well. I have purchased 4 of these in 3 different colors plus this new one, so 5. They are soft and thick and look new for a long time. I have 2 off white that still look new in the living room. I will definitely buy new ones when they are dirty.

It is not as thick of soft as I expected. A friend ordered a Safavieh shag of a little different style, and it seems deeper. Though it arrived 'rolled up', it had fold creases on it which make it look cheap, maybe from the backing being unsubstantial. It is more the quality of a throw rug than an area rug. I was somewhat disappointed.

EXACTLY what I was looking for. This rugs length in shag is perfect, long enough to be plush like but short enough to vacuum crumbs out of easily. Also, the Lenin color is beautiful! It was a big buck, but so worth it! And so beautiful. If it lasts, will purchase again and again!

I buy almost everything on Overstock. This is my first bad experience. This rug is in no way gold. It is mustard, and a light honey mustard at that. The color description is so off. Tried to return it and they want *** what I paid for a shipping label. Obsurd!

It looks just as I hoped. However the back is super rough. You could grate cheese. I Needed a rug pad for grip and to protect my wood floor. Also sounds crunchy when walking on it like I’m breaking up whatever rough coating is on the back. Looks great tho. Maybe it will soften over time.

Stunning Light Gold Rug

This rug is beautiful. What needs to be known is that it is not a dark gold. It is light gold leaning towards a yellow gold. The rug was rolled up when delivered. I placed it on the floor and let it settle for 24 hours to get rid of all the kinks. Then I put the furniture on it. I love the end product, but a tiny bit dissapointed with how light it was. Other than that, it is stunning.

Good quality.

This is an interesting color, kind of between a basic blue and an aqua. I would have liked it more in the aqua category, but either way, this is a good quality rug. I think I may have paid a little too much for it, but it is a pretty thick shag. Hopefully it stays nice, and does not matte. I have a few of this brand rug and am pleased with all of them.

Not what I expected. The color is darker than the picture and is kind of two-tone; it has brown threads and creamy colored threads. The color in the picture is perfect but the color of the actual item is kind of disappointing. It feels OK, texture-wise; it's not super soft but it's thick and kind of cooshy, which is nice. Going to try to make it work because I'm too lazy to ship it back.
