This is a very good quality awning. Unlike some, this comes fully assembled and ready to hang. The instructions were very clear and installation was quick and painless. You will need two people to mount lift into the mounts but othewise it’s a simple install. The mechanism works very smooth and the motor is quiet. The remote is a little cheesey but it works. My only issue was the freight company that delivered to me took way too long from when it hit their depot to my door, not really Wayfair’s fault but what can you do. It’s worth the money in my view.

I got the curbside delivery which was well worth it. The packaging was outstanding and therefore, no damage to the product. The awning is substantial and of great quality so you will need two strong men to install it. Overall we saved $2500+ by ordering from HD and installing ourselves, vs a local Awning Company.

I needed assistance setting up this awning. I called the manufacturer Advaning, and spoke to a very kind and patient gentleman named Jessy. Jessy had me set up and operating and enjoying my new awning in no time. He took me through, step by step, instructing me on how the awning worked. When i called, the phone was answered on the first ring, and I was speaking to Jessy immediately. Jessy was very knowledgeable on the operation of this awning, and explained its operation very clearly, which made everything very easy for me.

We have had the awning up for a couple weeks now. The remote feature is great! Press a button to open, close, or adjust the awning.

Great alternative to the expensive brands

My first thought was that if the awning is half as good as the packaging, it ought to be pretty good. I was not dissapointed. As others have mentioned, the biggest challenge I had was locating the studs, my concern was that if they were a bit too far apart for the end brackets, I wouldn't be able to position the awning where I wanted. As it turns out, the end studs on my house were 160.5" apart, which allowed for about 3/4" wiggle room for the awning to fit. So far, so good.

So helpful to have the shade! Was easy to install (just need some muscle to lift it into place). Vendor was helpful when we had a slight issue with it. The remote and motor work well and the fabric has held up after two years.

This is not as rugged as my previous sun setter awning. But for the price it is a nice awning. Easy to install but I felt a lot heavier than 120#s when lifting it into place. Do you know how strong a wind it will withstand while open?

Beautifully designed, good looking and well made at reasonable price. Quite heavy - definitely need at least 2 to fit, as the instructions indicate. I was lucky to have 3 people (one in the middle). The only challenge was that I had to find the studs through stucco exterior - that would be a challenge whatever the awning product. The motor and remote working great so far.

Great Quality Awning and Was Easily Installed

Just had it professionally installed yesterday and it is working great. It was easy to adjust the outside height with the included hand crank. it took 3 guys an hour to properly install the 16' awning. Now we need some sun instead of overcast skies here in southern Wisconsin.

This is a great product. We looked Sun Setter awnings and thought they are very good but also very pricey. This is as nice or nicer and a lot less money. One drawback you have to install yourself or find someone to do it. I put it up with my Son and it is really not that hard but the brackets must be in studs or in the bricks, that was the hardest part. Next hardest is putting the awning in the brackets, it is heavy so you need at least 2 people. Ours is a 12 footer so it is not as heavy as the 18. Over all this is a real nice addition to our deck. Works good and looks great.
