Safavieh Lyndhurst Sage & Ivory 8 × 11Area rug

I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. I bought the Safavieh Lyndhurst sage and Ivory 8×10 area rug and it is beautiful! It is well made, the colors are gorgeous and it has brought my living room to life. I hesitated making the purchase at first because I'm kind of leary about what kind of product will arrive at my door, but once I rolled the rug out onto my floor I immediately fell in love with it. I would totally recommend this rug to liven up almost any room.

great rug

Super soft and crisp details in the design. Color is a bit darker in person for the green version, which was better to be honest. Really happy with this purchase, plus delivery was fast. Downside is it comes folded instead of rolled which was a bit difficult to manage for the 9x12.

Happy and will be back.

I am very happy with the purchase of this rug. It's really nice and was just as nice as it looked online. If I'm looking for another rug I would definitely look here first.

I purchased this small rug to place under my exercise bike so I can move it across the floor easily without marking the floor. It is a gorgeous rug that matches the room well and it serves the purpose for which I bought it very well too. I am usually pretty happy when I shop at Home Depot. This was a good purchase..

Gothic Paradise

We have been looking for a rug with these colors and this size for quite a while. But what always turned us away was how expensive they were. I can't believe what an amazing price we got this ginormous rug for and the quality is exceptional. The colors are vivid the rug is well-made and gives us that Gothic aesthetic we were looking for.

Worthwhile bargain.

The rug is perfect for my den. Colors are true to the screen and looks well made for being so inexpensive . Delivery was on time. Just waiting for rug to flatten out from being rolled up. Very pleased with the purchase.

Very happy with my purchase!

The Safavieh Lyndhurst Kuralay Traditional Oriental Rug is exactly what I needed for my kitchen area. Perfect 4' x 6' size and the sage color was as shown on the site. It comes rolled so it takes a day or two to flatten out. Easy transaction, great price and super fast delivery too!

A nice, relatively inexpensive runner

I didn't like that the rug is darker than the photos, but it's beautiful nonetheless, and fits in with my light green hallway walls. Also, my girlfriend likes it. :-) Though it's made of polypropylene, it's pleasant enough to walk on, especially with the rubber-like mesh pad I use underneath it that keeps the runner from slipping around.

Our new carpet

Item arrived as promised. Carpet arrived well wrapped. Carpet is as beautiful as seen on the add. My wife and I are very satisfied with the design, the colors, and price. We placed it under our dining room table.

Good colors, soft pile

This is quite a large rug for my living room, which has 2 white sofas. It is next to my red dining room so the colors are perfect. It's very soft and nice for bare feet, too. Adds the finishing touch to the two rooms, uniting them in common coloration.

Good buy, tho wrong size.

Arrived on time. Very nice rug. Great color. Feels thick and soft on bare feet. Flattened out much quicker than another oriental I bought from another company. Warning, although it’s listed as 8’x11’ and shows that on the back label, it I only measures 7.5’x11. Still works for where I have it tho.

The smell was overwhelming and never went away. I set them out on the porch for weeks to air out, but they never did. I gave them to someone who understood the problem and was willing to put up with it.

Perfect rug!

Safavieh is now my preferred rug vendor. This 9x12 rug rolled out without a crinkle or buckle. Very well packaged. A couple corners needed a pot sat on them for day just to settle them down. No big deal. This rug is truly quality, plush nap, but not furry. I love it. This is kind of soft rust with ivory.

Disappointed

The rug has several dark spots that appear to be more dying flaws than natural color variations. I’ve had several Safayieh rugs over the years, and this is the first one with which I’m dissatisfied. However, it is way too much trouble to repackage and return the rug; so I suppose I will keep it.

Good quality for the money, but a little short

Recently bought this sage/ivory rug for a newly painted room, and happy to say that looks as good in person as it does in the picture. A little softer than expected too, or at least softer than the rug it replaced. :)

The Safavieh Lyndhurst Kuralay Line

This Safavieh rug is polyester rather than wool; it is made to tolerate a range of conditions, including spills, pets, kids' play, and regular vacuuming where the vacuum has the standard rotating brush attachment. Safavieh's consistent quality is impressive; they make good looking, long wearing, rugs. This one is nicely put together, has a good tight weave, but is soft to the touch, and the coloring is vibrant, sharp, just as I was hoping and as shown in the advertisement. The backing is strong, heavy, and a heavy gauge thread secures the thick border fabric all the way around to prevent fraying. The advertisement lists this member of the Safavieh Lyndhurst Kuralay Tradition family as 8ft x 11ft; the actual measurement, as measured by hand with a Stanley Carpenter's Metal Tape was precisely 7ft 9-inches Wide x 11ft 2-3/8-inches Length. Why does this matter? Because when choosing a rug over the Internet, it's better to be a little bit short, than to be too long and extend partially up the side of the opposing wall; you cannot hide that and you do not want to cut a bound rug. So in this case, with my room, there was just enough extra in length because I chose a size rug listed as being just a little bit shorter than my maximum distance (11ft vs 11ft 2-3/8ths inches actual). So, this rug just did fit, right up to the baseboard trim, not a 16th of an inch to spare. I really like this rug, nice colors. Now I want another one, but even bigger, for the living room, @ 10'ft-W x 16'ft to 17'ft-L. Impressive! Thank you Overstock & Safavieh.

Pretty Rug

Very nice rug. We have used it in several rooms now. It is pleasant underfoot. I would recommend using a rug pad of some sort with it. Would buy again.

Ok quality

This is a very reasonably priced rug for quality. By no means is this wool, rather synthetic material. My dog had an accident which I needed to use the Bissel to clean. The area I had to wet/clean seemed to shrink and then dry where it did not bounce back to its original shape. That is my only complaint. This rug is something you can have for a few years with pets or small children and not feel bad about tossing for something more expensive/sturdier.

Nice red rug

I was looking for a red rug to brighten up our family room. It didn’t work out there but looked great In Our eat in kitchen. It was a little scuffed on one corner but it would have been too much of a hassle to return.
