Weird design
The water intake is designed for PEX, but the opening to the bathtub is not. If you do not have a tub, you have to solder in the plug. That was a pain in the rear.

Installed in basement overhead for outdoor shower. Worked like a charm. Needed flow to come out the bottom (tub) connection to fit in tight space. Otherwise would have ordered model with 3 all pex connections.

This valve worked once and then it no longer mixed hot/cold - shower was either hot or cold, I'm contacting Moen and expect good customer service but meanwhile what a pain.
Great valve but not a fan of the Pex "style"
Usually buy in IPS "style" but the cost was too high, so had to deal with PEX "style"
I returned this valve after reading all of the negative...
I returned this valve after reading all of the negative reviews on various online sites. It seems that Moen has lost its way when it comes to the quality of their cartridges. I didn't want to be replacing a cartridge every year are so like so many have noted.
