excellent fixture, high quality

I have to admit I purchased this pendant light just for the shade, which is excellent and looks great in my 1920s bathroom, but the nickel fixture is so nice I'm hanging on to it in case I have some other use for it, or a friend or family member wants it. Both fixture and shade were flawless. The shade is a beautiful creamy white color.

Nice Look

It’s just what I was looking for and I’m happy with it overall. I just wish that the metal bars came in different lengths rather than all three being the same.

Lovely soft unobtrusive light. I wanted something to go in a remodeled bathroom and this fits perfect. Fits well into our older house. I used one rod so that it wouldn't hang too low and it fits perfect. Easy to install with great instructions. Overall really like the look and feel it gives to the room. Would definitely recommend this light for any part of your home.

This is a very simple, sort of retro looking pendant light. It would be a good accent light for a kitchen island or peninsula or an informal dining room. Everything about the fixture is solid and well made. Installation is simple unless you have very old or unusual wiring in your home. The light has several pipe pieces so the height is somewhat adjustable. The brightness will be determined by the size and type of bulb you install. This is a nice simple light that could fit into many decorating styles.

I have been a builder remodeler for 48 years, and as such often have opportunity to install lighting in customer’s homes. Their tastes vary widely, some preferring modern styles, others traditional styles, still others eclectic styles. This light fixture went over an island in our renovation and is simply perfect. It gives the schoolhouse look I was going after and no matter how high the ceiling is, it is adjustable due to the enclosed 12 inch increment extension rods. The light output is great, very bright and perfect for a kitchen, at the same time, the glass shade makes it easy to clean this fixture, which is so important in a kitchen installation. I am truly delighted with the high quality of finish and material in this pendant, and can highly recommend it for anybody!

Madison Avenue Polished Nickel Pendant with Opal Etched Glass Shade is really nice. Easy to install. I had to put wood Putty in one of the screw hole in the electrical box so the screw will stay in and hold the mounting plate. I let it dry for an hour before instilling the light. I only used one 12" rod. I put a rubber band around the long white and black wires to easily put it up in the hole of the electrical box instead of cutting them, so if I ever move I can take this with me. I have vaulted ceilings so this is great that it adjusts to the slant of the ceiling. Installed it in the small space between the bathroom and the two bedrooms. Used the LED light bulb that was in the old fixture. Gives off allot of light. Love it and it looks great.

The Polished Nickel Pendant with Opal Etched Glass Shade looks beautiful, very easy to assemble and mount. I was lucky I was able to use the old light screw holes and it took less than thirty minutes to mount myself. Wife really loves the light and with the LED bulb, it puts out plenty of light. I would highly recommend this light for use anywhere you have a high ceiling.

This light fixture is larger than I expected and is very well made and finished. It comes with 4 12" extension rods, so it can be mounted with the bottom of the shade 26" to 62" below the ceiling. Note that if you mount it on a 8' ceiling, the bottom of the shade will be less than 6' from the floor. In my installation on a vaulted ceiling using a single rod the shade barely clears my 6'4" height.
