We aired out the rug in our garage for 2 weeks and the strong plastic/petroleum odor remained. If this odor is not an issue for you - the rug is very pretty.

Just what we needed
This inexpensive rug went in our office where a very thin rug was needed so an office chair could easily roll on it. Perfect for our needs. Colors are very nice. I wouldn’t want this rug in a living room—too thin. Would have rated it even higher but after a week I’m still waiting for the wrinkles to fall out. It wasn’t shipped on a tube hence the wrinkles.

Colors are lighter than expected
Still smells after 6 months.
This rug still hasn't off gassed after six months. It smells like gas/moth balls. It has a sparse and cheap plasticy pile. I've owned great poly rugs, this is not one of them. Save your money. I would have sent it back if it had been worth it.
Beautiful rug
The colors in this rug are muted but very vibrant colors that show up nicely. The size is just right for an accent in any room. Great quality also.
