Not black

It is a great rug! However it is not black and gold like described. The trim stitch is definitely a royal navy blue and very prominent in the sunlight. The Actual dark on the carpet is a purple hue. The carpet is great quality otherwise

I'm glad I went with this choice! The Safavieh Madison Diederike Boho Medallion Distressed Rug (I purchased the black & gold, 6x9) is an excellent rug for basic needs. I wanted a rug that had an aged, vintage vibe to it, but also one that had many muted colors. The rug was scheduled to arrive on a Thursday but arrived much earlier on Sunday afternoon. It was wrapped and sealed in a heavy plastic, but that was it ... no box or anything else. Upon unwrapping it and laying it out, there was no offensive smell and the corners actually rolled down smoothly. It's not a thick, plush rug but it is soft. My office chair can easily glide over the thickness of this rug. Overall, it's a great purchase at just over ***. It adds style and pop for very little money.
