I like everything EXCEPT the rack. The rack is over engineered and way too specific to what must be placed where. There is not enough flexibility to load things how and where works for you. ALSO, the horizontal “bottom” floor of the rack has gigantic holes where some items could fall through and potentially damage the spray arm. The bottom floor needs more cross members to fill in those gaps. One of the cross members is near middle of rack floor yet it is only about 3.5 inches long leaving huge gaps on either side. Other than the horrible rack design, I like it very much. It cleans well, the quick connect fitting easily attaches and removes from faucet. With proper tightening and no teflon tape used, the water supply and drain hoses work great without any leaks. It is quiet and looks great too. Been using it for a few weeks now.

BEAST

We live in a small apartment with no dishwasher. So, we’ve been washing dishes by hand. Washing by hand always left my hands cracked, because real men don’t wear gloves. Plus it seemed to use a ton of water, and took a lot of time. So, i decided to get this as a surprise for my wife while she was away for a few days. Holy moly is this thing great. Well built, no leaks, and does a wonderful job cleaning dishes. We use Cascade liquid and only fill the small cup, works great and is cheap. 10/10.

Magic Chef 21 in. Black Electronic Countertop

This junk lasted 3 months. Contaced Magic Chef online. Never got a response. Power light stopped coming on and flashed an error code. Will not purchase this brand again. Unfortunately no brand makes appliances to last anymore. Ended up installing a Whirlpool under the counter.

Should Have Purchased Sooner

Our old dishwasher broke years ago and unfortuantely our home could no longer accomedate a plumbed-in dishwasher. I should have ordered this years ago because it cleans better than our old built-in GE ever did. I have no complaints. Yes, it's small but for a household of two it works just fine. With a little practice I've figured out how to fit my biggest pans and casserole dishes in it as well. Hookup was easy and I will probably never go back to a full sized unit. I love it.

Dish washer sits on counter and is easy to load...

Dish washer sits on counter and is easy to load and unload. No breaking my back trying to reach to the floor to unload a dishwasher. It cleans enough for each meal. So you do not have food stuck on plates for all day until you can fill the dishwasher. The attachment to the sink was bit hard to start but eventually was able to connect it. They really taped the insides a lot but at least during shipping nothing got damaged. The only reason I will not give 5 stars to this is the hose attachment is plastic in the rear. We already had trouble with it leaking. The in hose is well made and has an easy to tighten setup. But the drain hose is requiring tools to tighten . This being plastic is very easy to damage using a tool. Do not know why they are different. Both could of had the attachment so they was easy to tighten with hand so you can't damage it while tightening with a tool. We have only had it for short while. I might go up in my rating if it continues to be good as we seem to finally have the hoses tight enough. They have a very easy to attach to sink setup. It is spring loaded and quick to put on and take off. Just need to release pressure with the button first before removing. This could of been the same for the rear of the machine. Not sure why the rear of the machine has a very poor design for attaching the water hose and drain hose compared to the way it attaches to the sink.

Best investment

I did the Best investment in this dishwasher, due to limited space we got this and it does not hold many dishes but still does the work as it has been stated in description.I am happy with the purchase.

It may be small, but it is mighty

Compact for apartments and smaller places, water is hot and I use with cascade pods and cleans it beyond belief! No streaks! Only downfall is how long it takes. Heavy duty is 120min. It’s quiet, doesn’t use a lot of water. No leaks. High performance appliance. Very happy with the purchase.

Unbelievable Clean dishes, forks, knives & spoons

Didn't know dishwashers have come this far so fast, replaced an old Sears Kenmore. This Uses less water and less electricity and does a 10x better job tan the old Kenmore ever did, Would buy again in a NY minute.

Best thing I ever bought, no lie!

If you hate doing dishes as much as I do you’ll love this thing. No more dishes sitting for weeks in the sink. Swear to god literally best thing I ever bought. Had to buy adapters to fit my apartments faucet though but 30 minutes at Home Depot playing with setups got me situated and honestly love this thing. Takes a little long to run some of the cycles but well worth it. 10/10 would recommend.

Great appliance!

This works great in our limited space. I sometimes turn the silverware basket to accommodate different sizes n shapes of things I need washed. Others said use Cascade pods but I found they weren't dissolving completely.

Can't ask for much better than this.

Quite and works like its suppose to! Hooked up to my kitchen sink without any problems at all. Connections, hoses, and all are perfect! Quite! Can't watch TV with it running, and not have to turn the TV up at all. Draining is a little noisy, but, to be expected. I've now had this over 3 months, and love it! My back is loving it too. I've thrown in a few pots and plates that sat for a few days, without doing anything to them, into this thing, and they come out perfect every time! Glasses, and silverware are spotless! My only grip. Box was wet when I received it! However, as stated in the manual, it should be expected, as this company tests their products before shipping, and says there may be some water.

The Magic Chef dishwasher is the perfect size to fit in our 5th wheel. We decided not to use the supplied inlet & outlet hoses, as we hooked up to main line water supply & drain got connected into grey water tank.

It runs very quietly and does a good job cleaning. I am so happy not to have to hand wash. You do have to clean food particles off before putting in dishwasher which I did anyway with large ones. The handle on the silverware basket broke after a week of use but the company sent me a new one very quickly under it's warranty.

Very Disappointed

I only used it twice ,the first time it worked great, but it was set on a cycle with lower wash time. I thought it was going to be great the second time . I used the pan setting because I was washing pot and pans. It cleaned everything fine, but when it was done, luckily I had used a kitchen towel to dry something off. All I did was lay towel on counter in front of it, but Thank God I did. Because after buzzer went off and I went to check on them. I picked towel up and it was absolutely soaked with water. Slide dishwasher forward and there was a lot of water on my counter. Yes ,it was level so it wasn't that and being it's just me. I decided it wasn't worth wreaking my counters and cupboards. So I'm going back to old fashioned hand washing and dish drainer. So I don't know if I just got a bad one, but I'm not taking chances.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. She absolutely loves it. It's very quiet except when draining. But it saves our water bill and I haven't had to wash anything by hand since Christmas eve 2020!
