Ideal solution for Front Porch

When I bought my house there were typical lantern type lights all over the outside including at the front porch. They tend to cast a lot of light but also are bright spots at eye level for anyone approaching. Consequently the are blinding and unpleasant. This sconce is perfect for my entry. I have a pair and they shine soft LED light up and down, lighting the entry adequately but with no bright spots. The porch surface is brightly lit for safety and the uplight provides a welcoming glow without blinding anyone.

#sweepstakes I bought 8 of these to use as exterior sconces in a new-construction house with a brick exterior. It's a solid product, and it was a bonus that they came with a sale price and free shipping. I'm buying most of the fixtures for the interior and exterior of the house from Lumens.

Modern, Great Look and Feel, and very nice Optics

So, overall outstanding. The fixture rocks as it is aluminum and well crafted. The light output distribution is perfect. It does a great job of providing some forward light onto the porch and onto the steps. Not too much forward light as in,,,,,,,It is low glare so, yes you need a step stool to install the top screw and that is ok. I love the color light selectability.
