I was quite excited to receive this delivery until I opened it to find NOT the black that I ordered but a navy blue fabric. Look at the picture attached with the review the fabric on the right is black from Sharon Textile that ordered using Walmart.com and the left is the mainstays’ supposed black fabric. I don’t know if this was done in error and I’m hoping it was because if that’s what they consider black then that’s really sad. Now I have the glamorous job of having to return this but one thing is certain I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER buy mainstays fabric again. That was my first and last time.

This piece of fabric is really a nice feel. The color is pretty and the fabric is easy to manage. I was able to make a toaster oven cover from this and that was very simple. I would definitely purchase more especially when I need to sew my own clothes.

Just received fabric, blue color, it’s just what you would expect in cotton fabric. Haven’t had a chance to use yet and haven’t washed it yet to test colorfastness.

O love cotton fabric, I think it is the best option for wearing or even to decorate a home. So I decided to acquire a yard of a royal blue of cotton to start to think about possible projects during this time of social distance. At first, I thought that it would be enough for a pijamas, I was completely wrong, with a yard is just enough for the bottom part of the pijamas, and I mean shorts. After, this miscalculation of the amount of fabric that I should have gotten I decided to transform it into a table cloth, because as I mentioned before cotton is a versatile fabric. So my project for this yard of blue cotton is to have the hem done and after that to crocheted all the four sides of it making a beautiful piece for my home. I am very satisfied with the quality of this fabric- it is super soft and after the first wash it didn’t fade away. This fabric is pretty strong too. If someone buys cotton fabric it is too difficult to make a mistake because it is going to be very useful for any job using fabric that the person can think of. I am really excited to finish my table cloth.

This Mainstay cotton fabric is great for home projects especially for beginner fabric mask making. It has a soft feel and dry really well. I love that it’s lightweight and easy to sew and make something out of it. The solid color makes it easy to match with everything.

This fabric has very nice mid weight smooth texture, the Color stays true Royal Navy. After It was washed and dried it did need to be pressed. I can think of many items this fabric could be used for. Clothing, quilting, curtains, pillows, chair covers, duvet cover, table cloth to name a few projects. Yes I would recommend this fabric. It will wear well and last with care.

Excellent quality fabric! This is the perfect fabric to fix a pair of jeans that I’ve been wanting to patch. The fabric is thick and durable and I have no doubt that it will hold up for quite some time.
