Color blue not close to illustration and damaged

Dome is just short of 20% different in height and is not wide enough for pedestal. Pedestal has a small hole in the base, and a discolored top. The glass is beautiful and thick, but not close to the color illustrated. In the photo, it is depicted as a brighter blue.In reality, it is a grey/green blue. I contacted Food52 for a paid return and have not received it within the suggested 48 business hours.So, no, not happy.

Pretty cake plates

Love the milk glass pedestal cake plates. The pink color is soft. This is my third one I own. The grey and white ones look pretty as well.

While beautiful and well made, the 10" dome tapers in and barely fits a standard 9" cheesecake. If you plan on icing a 9" round cake, you will not be able to put the dome over it without messing up the sides. Maybe if you use a crane to drop it perfectly and there is not even the slightest of breeze.

Maybe if you use a crane to drop it perfectly and there is not even the slightest of breeze.The most disappointing part is that everything is a drop ship from food52 and I bought this for Christmas, well in advance, and the 30 day return policy meant that the return window was up before I even gave it to them. So now we are stuck with a beatiful but non-functional item in the kitchen. I suppose we can stack cookies under it....

This little cake stand is just what I hoped it would be. Fits in perfectly with my other Jadite pieces, also compliments my collection of Fiesta ware. It feels like a very good quality, heavy glass. It was wrapped extremely well for shipping and arrived quickly and without a scratch! I love it displayed on my open shelving in my kitchen, and I also will use it to serve cookies, etc when the occasion calls for it! This was my second purchase from Mrs. Margaret’s Glass, and I’ll definitely order again. Thank you!

Gorgeous - A Big Hit

My mother-in-law absolutely loved this gift! She is a trained pastry chef, and wasn’t expecting this at all. Tons of “Oohs” and “Ahhhs” from the crowd. I hit it out of the park with gifts this year, without spending a lot, if I do say so myself.

This was a gift for my Daughter-in-law and she loved it! I purchased the jadette with a cake dome and the quality and color is beautiful. A wonderful and useful addition to any bakers kitchen!The only complaint I would have is that Food52 did not contact me when the item shipped (or was delivered) - it went to the gift recipients address so I had no idea if the item had arrived.
