Missing Parts
I can't believe it took me two weeks to get it, then when I finally get it ( excited to finally have it after waiting for 2 long weeks )
Very poor delivery.
My weight bench was delivered to my neighbors house. Poor man can barely walk. It was already dark and I can tell, he struggled to get to my house. Why didn't the delivery person call me, if he couldn't find my house. Very disappointing!
Weight bench
Exactly what I was looking for. Price was good. Fits perfectly in the room. Instructions to put together were pretty easy to follow. Would recommend to a friend.
Standard weight bench with attachments Standard weight bench with attachments
Heavy duty bench with add ons. Seems well constructed and easy assembly. Just what I need. First one I received had incorrect part but seller replaced with out issue.
Came packed nicely. Sturdy and well-built. Assembly is lengthy but has good instruction. Like a previous rater said, the pad is too narrow for comfort. Also, the weight rack is a little too low. The main problem is with the upper leg curl on the front. Can't figure out how to lay on stomach to use it.
OK if 5'6"/135lbs or less, moderate weights
The weight bench is just able to accommodate my size (I am 5'6" and 135 lbs.). If you are bigger than that, good luck. The construction is solid enough for my purposes; I am not trying to lift heavy weights. The butterfly arms "catch" on the upright legs that support the barbell bar. I used metal washers to modify the butterfly arms to gain adequate clearance of the upright legs. Your barbell bar will need to be one that allows you to place weights at whatever width will clear the upright barbell-support legs. Leg extension area is fine. Ditto curls using the preacher curl. The bench you lay on for lifting is a little narrow, but adequate for the uses I have described above.
Good , or Better
It was easy to assemble, instructions & bolt lay-out was good, The bench itself seems heavy duty & Sturdy with the weights on it.
Adequate
Assembly was quick and easy. My only complaints are the following:
Awkward and uncomfortable
Pretty easy to assemble but the nuts, bolts and washers were askew in the shrinkwrap. Using the bench can be awkward. The butterfly doesn't work like a true butterfly and I thought we had assembled it wrong. Double checked and we assembled correctly- it just is very clumsy and doesn't work the muscles a true butterfly does. The arm curl causes your wrists to bend more than they should. Wish I had spent the extra money for a nicer machine.
Great for Budget Home Gym Set Up !
This is a great bench to keep you from having to pay gym membership fees ! Good if you want your own small home gym set up. It is a sturdy piece of equipment pretty solid. It holds plenty of weight to workout with. I have 100% Iron weights on it. The preacher curl is my favorite and bench pressing. The butterfly needs better screws put in it you have to purchase more from the hardware store. The butterfly screws bend when you put like 25 lbs on them and workout. That is the only thing that is cheap on this set up. But over all a great value ! Now to add a Weider total body works along with this then I will have a Complete Body Building gym set at home !! Free weight training and cable fly training together and will not break the bank !! WOW !!
