It is solid tray. It does have very low feet underneath, so it does not sit flush. The ripple effect makes it a really great looking tray. We purchased the Transparent Blue and the Crystal Clear. The Transparent Blue colour is truly vibrant. What a great colour. The Crystal clear colour is like clear water.

Expensive but pretty

This would look much better if it had no legs. Wanted it for a mantel with glass dishes on top, but looks a bit awkward, so had to move it to a lower spot on a shelf so you are looking down at it. Also it is very lightweight and the instructions say not to place hot objects on it, so it would not be very useful if you wanted to use it for serving food or beverages. Decorative only.

love the trays just wish i would have gotten different color than gray, gray is too dark just looks black. hate to go to trouble to return

I adore this tray. I bought it in the bright silver and because the swirly textured side is on the back, it is an optical illusion, as the top is flat so you can put things on top without them tipping! Amazing looking. Only thing to consider is that there are sharp-ish feet on this tray which may prevent you from using on a soft or fragile piece of upholstery. Great for use on a hard table though.

Beautiful, and far better than expected. Actually looks even more vibrant in person. I think it's acrylic so should chip or break, which makes it nice as a serving tray. There are four small legs on bottom, probably 1/2" high or so. Makes the tray sit up just a touch from the surface so that light gets underneath to make it shine. May buy another one soon.
