Rug is really nice. However, the colors are a lot of turquoise, rust, light gray, darker light gray, a little black and gold. I wasn’t planning on the Turquoise. My rug also is 7’ 8” instead of 8’ or 7’ 10”. This meant my 7’ 10” rug pad did not fit properly under it. Good price. Had to be ironed with a steam iron and white cotton dish towel to get it to lay flat. Good value if turquoise is what you’re after.

Beautiful, good quality

This soft rug is perfect for a bedroom. It is a lighter color and in a home with pets and kids, I could not have it as a main living area rug. It would get dirty very fast. But in my bedroom, where kids and pets are limited, it will last longer! The colors are muted and the carpet looks aged, which is exactly what I wanted. It did have creases in it from being rolled up, and took a few weeks to lay flat. But it looks great now. The quality for the pricing is excellent! I cannot get over how pretty this rug is and how little it cost. If you like to change decor often, I highly recommend Mark and Day rugs. The value is awesome!! The only thing I wish I had thought of before buying this rug, is to buy a washable rug. This was my first purchase from Mark and Day, and I didn't realize they sold washable rugs as well. That's ok though, with the pricing, I can afford to buy one down the road and not feel like I'm wasting money.

Just as Described!

Quite happy with our new Mark and Day rug! The colors were just as described as was the thickness of the rug. This room is our Family Room and it sees A LOT of life, kids, babies, dogs, eating and drinking. I purchase the rug for this room almost as "disposable" because I KNOW it's going to take a beating. This rug is really pretty, includes colors from the rest of my home and totally fits that bill. The price was amazing so we can actually "live" in this room without me having to feel freaked out all the time! The only trouble I'm having so far is the ends still don't want to relax but I'm hoping they will with time (I may lay some heavy books on them for a while). I would recommend purchasing the felt pad for additional comfort as this rug is not very thick...but it's pretty!

So happy with our new rug!

After searching for months, we finally settled on our new Mark and Day rug. We bought a large one for our living room, and we love it. The colors are lovely and match the colors of our room while bringing in some pretty gold and red accent colors. We’ve only had the rug a few days, but the edges are laying down nicely. We’re still waiting for a couple of wrinkles to lay flat, but overall we’re very pleased. I’m hoping that when we receive our rug pad, it will feel even thicker and more comfortable to walk on. The rug adds a whole new warmth to our home, and we’re so thankful we made the decision that we did. We have used Mark and Day for other home improvements as well, and we have been very happy with our purchases!

Room Perfect

I am very please with my rug purchase from Mark and Day. The colors coordinate so well with the furniture and floor. The rug was delivered in great shape and without damage as it was well packaged and so easy to place in the room. It only took a few days for it to settle onto the floor without wrinkles and pulling. I am so glad that I ordered from this company and will not hesitate to do so again. The biggest problem that I had ordering was choosing from their vast and beautiful rug selection. I have already recommended Mark and Day to several family members and friends. They all seem very surprised when I tell them the price and the ease of ordering.

Perfect fit for our space!

I first saw an ad for Mark & Day with this rug months ago. I emailed a link to myself just in case I decided to look it up again. Well, I couldn’t stop thinking about that rug and what a perfect fit it looked like it could be for our space. With a 6-month-old baby who is ready to crawl all over, this rug adds the perfect touch to our living room. Its stylish yet will be super functional when our little ones starts to get on the move. The colors are just right for our original warm wood flooring, but also brings in the cool tones from the walls and sofa. It really ties everything together and grounds the space. There was a slight chemical smell when we first laid out the rug, but it was gone in a matter of hours! Super happy with this purchase.

I saw an add Mark and Day on facebook, I was a little hesitant to order, but am so glad that I did! I ordered my rug and received it by the following week, which is super fast considering everything going on! I love the design and colors, really adds to my front entry! I was unsure about ordering a round rug, but am completely satisfied with how it looks and fits in the space. It is a little wrinkled, but I had just taken it out of the package and am sure if will flatten! The price and quality are phenomenal! Their website is easy to navigate to find everything that you need! Will definitely be ordering more rugs in the near future!

Great deal

I am rebuilding a 100-year-old doctors house. The ceilings or 11 feet tall and the floors are herringbone maple. I needed a special throw rug to set the rooms off as well as the maple floors. Love it!

I have been looking for a new area rug for over a year and just couldn’t pull the trigger. I stumbled upon this and for the price decided to give it a shot! I absolutely love it! We have a little one and two dogs and this rug seems like it will hide a lot of things. The colors seem just a smidge lighter than the pictures online, but it is still wonderful. My only complaint was that it had a chemical smell for the first two days that was pretty strong. I reached out and told that it was from the plastic used to ship and it would go away, which it did. Hopefully it holds up, and if it does I will order again from this company!

Great Value

The rug looks better in person. The colors were a little softer than the stock photos shown online which worked out great for me. I was a bit nervous about going so bold. The rug is thin as advertised but soft. The wrinkles came out quickly with a set of books on the edges. I bought a rug from another site and the wrinkles still have not come out and we used heavy dumbbells. We purchased the 9x12 for $130. You can’t beat that price for a rug! I didn’t hesitate to buy because it was so affordable. If I change the decor later it won’t be such a huge investment.

Great rug for a great price!

The delivery process went smoothly and I was notified about shipping progress throughout. The rug was well packaged so it arrived in good condition. The colors were very similar to what was pictured on the website. There was no unpleasant odor that can sometimes be present with new rugs. In just a couple of days it has rolled out smoothly with no bumps or ripples. It really fit my space well and the beautiful colors help to pull the space together to look bright and attractive. Overall, it is a wonderful rug for a very attractive price!

We love them!

After painting our dining room and hallway, we looked around for a rug for a little over a month. We needed something to pull together the warmth of our hardwood floors with the cool tones of the walls & trim. I hesitated when looking at this rug online, as I was concerned with having to pay for the return shipping if we didn't like it! Ultimately, the free shipping and reasonable price won out. Our rugs were delivered 5 days after ordering, and we flipped them and laid them under the rugs we already had. The rugs flattened out, for the most part after 7 days. We are so pleased with these rugs! They are thin (that's to be expected), but feel soft and definitely look more expensive than they were. As for the colors-they actually look better in person than they do online! I look forward to ordering from this site again.

Great Purchase

I had never heard of Mark &Day before, but after doing some rug shopping, expecting to be spending between $300-$400 I was surprised to see one this cheap. I thought surely there’s a caveat, low quality or poor materials surely. I couldn’t argue with such a great price, so I bought it with low expectations. After getting it in a timely manner, and unfurling it in my living room, I was completely blown away with the quality for value of this rug! It was completely flat in a matter of hours and has held up the torrent of foot (paw) traffic of me and my pooch, Rosie.

Rug is BLUE

The rug is more blue than gray. Powder blue. The quality is like many other rugs that you can purchase at a home improvement store. I hesitated to purchase a rug online because the colors may not fit with my decor. I also didn't want the hassle of sending such a large piece back of it didn't work. I have to send this rug back. If you look at the return policy, the company tells you what to buy to wrap the rug and then they require you to pay shipping to return it. It was a fortune so I am selling the rug on our local marketplace. This has been a good lesson for me so I am thankful. I won't ever purchase a large piece online, again.

Beautiful rug!!

This is my first purchase from Mark Day and I plan on purchasing more from this company. The rug was received very quickly with tracking along the so I could know exactly the hour my rug was received. We simply love the rug. Great brite colors and a great accent to our new home. A little thinner then expected but I am looking forward to receiving the "free rug pad" for this review. I would recommend this company to all my family and friends. Beautiful rug!

I just received my rug today and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I have been looking for a rug for weeks and this exact one popped up in an Instagram ad. The colors are perfectly muted. The description states the colors in the rug are Medium Gray, Taupe, Pale Blue, Teal, Cream, Burnt Orange, Lime, Charcoal. I would say that’s mostly accurate with the exceptions of the lime (I feel it reads more gold/brassy) and the burnt orange (I feel it reads more rust). You are definitely safe to go off of the stock photos, very very true to life. I was prepared for an overwhelming “new rug smell” for a few days and it is already much fainter than expected. Great price and brought my whole room together!

Runner Rug

I received the runner rug and I was very pleased with the quality and the colors were just right for my long hallway. I got several updates per email regarding the shipping status. My only complaint is that the rug was rolled up pretty tight and I’m having a hard time getting it to lay flat at the ends and corners. Hopefully this will straighten out and soon and lay flat. I have had compliments from friends on the runner which made me feel good since this was my first order from Mark & Day. I also ordered an 6x6 square rug in the same color that I will review at a later time. The cost was reasonable and it shipped a lot faster than I expected. I will order from this company again when I need another product.

Gorgeous!!!

Absolutely gorgeous rug. The colors were spot on to the picture online. The thickness was perfect for what I wanted, for having a rug in the kitchen. Not too thick but just perfect for high traffic. The pattern is beautiful and the colors are neutral enough to go with any style. I ordered the runner rug and the size is perfect for kitchens, hallways, or in a living room. I was able to lay the rug out flat for a few hours with some books on each end, so it could flatten out from being rolled up. Shipping was insanely fast!! It arrived two days before it’s scheduled time, which is amazing considering how crazy the mail is backed up these last few weeks. Overall, the rug is perfect and my experience exceeded my expectations. I will 100 percent be coming back for more rugs. Not to mention I checked every website and Mark & Day had the best prices, hands down! I will be a repeat customer for sure!
