I have only used the

I have only used the API Pond Microbial Algae for about two weeks now, but it did clear up my pond water clarity significantly. Thus, so far, I am very pleased with the results.

Only have a 250 gallon pond, and after two weeks the water is just as murky as when I started treatment.

Keeps water clear takes the

Keeps water clear takes the place of your uv light , but it does nothing for algae growing on the surface areas of the pond or rocks. So that is why I stopped using it and only use algae fix

Price beyond belief

I live by this particular product and have done so for the past several years. Usually purchase it through a local pond store, however this year my schedule did not allow this to occur and I ordered all needed pond chemical from PetMountain at a fantastic savings. I finally did make it to the local pond store and found the needed chemicals at nearly twice the price. Thanks PetMountain. I will order again before the end of the season. Great Product

I've been using this for over a year now, and it works great in my pond. I used to use Algaefix when algae got too much but now I just use this every week (is quite expensive though) according to the directions, bit tricky as have to convert gallons to litres etc. to calculate .. but it seems to work and don't need algae fix anymore.

Best Stuff ever!

The best natural algae preventer I've ever used. Love it because it is natural microbes and does not harm fish, snails or birds. Be patient and let it do its work and your pond will clear up!

Worked in my pond

This product worked well in my small pond that had way too much algae in it. I ended up using double doses but the pond is much clearer now.

Pond care clean

As I have received the product a week ago, I have used it twice putting in 5ml at a time. As I have no idea how much water is in the pond, I just had to guess. It is a kidney shaped pond. So far nothing has changed but will give it a month to see how it goes.

Have not had any positive results

Have followed directions accuratly, but the pond water remains the same--green and cloudy. Can't see the fish until they come to the surface.

Not Effective

I added to my 900 gal. Koi tank in accordance with the instructions. After several weeks I saw no results whatsoever. A UV unit seems to be a much better investment.

BEST PRODUCT ON THE MARKET FOR ALGAE CONTROL

I HAVE BATTLED ALGAE IN MY POND FOR THE LAST 3 SUMMERS AND HAVE LITERALLY SPENT HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENT THAT WERE USELESS. ALGAE WAS SO BAD THE WATER LOOKED LIKE PEA SOUP AND I WAS CHANGING THE WATER EVERY 2-3 WEEKS TO CONTROL IT. WITHIN 1 WEEK OF USING MICROBIAL ALGAE CLEAN THE WATER HAD CLEARED ENOUGH TO SEE THE FISH AND IN 3 WEEKS THE ALGAE WAS UNDER CONTROL. HAVE BEEN USING FOR 3 MONTHS NOW WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS. MICROBIAL ALGAE CLEAN IS ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE (NONE OF THE OTHER PRODUCTS WERE EXCEPT BARLEY STRAW AND IT DID NOT WORK), EASY TO USE (JUST POUR IT IN), AND IT DOES EXACTICALLY WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO.

Works well

This product killed most of the hair algae in my pond after the 3rd dose. It took about 2 weeks. However the pond became somewhat more cloudy soon after the treatments, I'm not sure if this was related to the algae killer, or just the high temperatures we have been having. Also, several frogs vanished from the pond after use -again not sure if this was caused by the algae killer. We found no dead frogs.
