[Rewarded Review] Captain America Lives

Captain America was one of my favorite childhood heroes. It is great to finally own his shield. I was greatly surprised with the quality and size of the shield.

Really a great item and I am more than impressed, it'll make a great addition to my office on the wall. Yes, it is plastic, but it's a heavy duty plastic that has a nice weight... but it's still 1/2 the wieght of the some of metal versions I saw. I don't think the online pictures are doing this shield justice and would highly recommend.

Super shield

Thought the material would be tougher. I called to make sure it was metal but not sure I would use it for real action play. The straps are good quality and well attached. My grandson loved it of course and will treasure it.

Item was as described, brand new unopened and in original outer freight box. Received in very fast time. A Fantastic collectors piece. If you had any others I’d buy them too! :)

Beautiful prop - but not metal

I dont know why, but for the price I was paying, I expected this to be an aluminum shield. Unfortunately, its a very durable plastic. Its well painted and the straps are secure (although I think the strap size for the hand could be reduced in order to give more control when wielding the shield). As long as youre aware of the construction material, I think youll be happy with it.

We had a hard time finding the shield from other vendors. It was exactly what we were looking for. Great quality, good weight, and it looks great at the entrance of our man cave.

This shield is amazing, and I Totally recommend it if you’re going to go cosplay with it, and/or if you’re a diehard fan of Captain America. This shield looks the actual one from movie and the tv series too.

Cap’s EndGame Shield

So this shield looks amazing. The replica detail is spot on. My only complaint is the other shell does not look or feel metallic which dulls the fantastic paint down a lot. The First Avenger shield was a much better looking shield only because it was all metal. Still not disappointed with this product. It looks amazing hanging next to the EFX Stealth Shield and the First Avenger Shield.

Amazing replica of the new shield! Very sturdy construction and good weight to it. This thing is huge! A good 2 ft wide with well crafted straps on the inside. It was a gift for my 11yr old son and he couldn't be happier with it. Looks just like the real thing. Great quality item. Extremely happy with this marvel legends purchase.

Great piece... For Plastic

The shield is visually striking and looks great from a distance, but the plastic it's made of feels cheap, especially for its price point, and the separate red and silver panels on the front don't sit quite flush all the way around, revealing that they're separate pieces instead of a single solid one. As such, it's good for what it is, but pales in comparison to the 75th anniversary metal shield - if you're looking for the most realistic shield possible, that's the one you want.

Okay, I’m going to make a finer point on the mcu here that is going unanswered elsewhere online. This shield is great, BUT it is modelled for the closing scenes of endgame and was not the one used in the endgame battle by Rodgers, and was destroyed by thanos. we saw him go back in time without a shield and came back with this one, with a redesigned shape(fluting along the silver ring of the exterior). While everyone was saying “what happened with Cap and The Red Skull?” They didn’t look at the shield hard enough to notice that someone OTHER-THAN Howard Stark designed this one since the original shield was frozen with Steve and there was no more vibranium in Stark’s care . I’m guessing that old Steve went back to Wakanda around the time of T’Chaka to get a replacement and explain a few things but ultimately walk away with a crispy new vibranium shield. I’m not dead on here but there’s so much explaining needing to happen right now.

Best licensed shield

Arrived with no major scratches or dents. Good weight and realistic look/shield design. Goes perfectly with my Captain America costume. Couldn't find it locally, had to order internationally.

Of all the Marvel Legends variations of Caps Shield, this one stands out with it's subtle changes to it's predecessors. Get better after each event (Movie/TV) release

A piece of History

I'm so glad I was able to purchase this shield. I missed out on the MCU original shield. So when I saw this I quickly jumped on it was able to get the shield in no time the quality is amazing worth every penny

Ok, not the greatest

Shield arrived with scratches on it even though it looked like it had good packaging. Paint on shield was dull not shiny, expected it to look more like metal instead of cheap plastic. Starting to wonder if I could have done better making it myself for the cost. Tried to get good photos of scratches but most are in the silver paint, hard to see on camera.
